#29 Posted: 4/9/2012 3:55:55 PM The Royals' series price is even. So prob no big dog odds. I just hit a decent gm1 with the Marlins.
The O's should have some good odds this series...any leans on them? Thx |

#30 Posted: 4/9/2012 4:03:52 PM I like the Giants by your double up method getting +150 in the first game. Giants 0-3 and Rockies coming off 2 straight loses. |

#31 Posted: 4/9/2012 5:23:32 PM McShady,
Actually like the O's as well, saw the plus 190 for the series. O's should be able to get at least one ,but, I had to pass because the O's starters the first two nights scare me. Both Matusz and Arrieta have struggled against the Yanks at Camden Yards and then the Yanks have CC off a loss in game 3. I think there is a better than 60/40 chance yankees sweep here so I just had to stay off. I did however find one more series I like a lot.....
Cards +130 so they should be Dogs in all three, and I like the chip on the shoulder mentality they have right now. Westbrook had some solid Spring numbers and I love the sinkerball in the cold night air in Cincy.....
ADDING:
St. Louis +100 Bet one 100 to win 100 |

#39 Posted: 4/10/2012 11:38:33 AM ADDING: NO SERIES PLAY JUST GAME 1 only
TB RAYS come to Detroit off a sweep of the Yanks and are now a +150 to win this series. I think the Rays have the ptiching edge in game 1 with Moore and Porcello yeilding a 5.60 plus Home ERA at Comerica Park last season.
TB RAYS EVEN 55 to win 50
Good Luck |

#40 Posted: 4/10/2012 2:22:44 PM BOL Semperfi I have been looking for a site that gives ump trends without having to do all the research myself, I dont mean to sound lazy, but I just dont have the time to do it all. Do you know of any such site or software that may be available? It may help you also, not that there is anything wrong with your system, you were just talkin about adding new filters. The trends on umps helps me tremendously. Just a tid-bit I wanted to throw at you guys. Thanks in advance if there is a site you know of.BOL again and will be following you on some series for sure. |

Being an amateur umpire myself, I truly understand the value of an umpire, however, I feel they tend to help with over/under wagers than sides. I focus on starting pitching and I know umpires can have an affect on that as well, but, I feel that trying to pin point home plate ump with any given starter is too difficult and may not be worth the effort. By the way , if you do see a trend on a umpire with a certain starter, please post what you find. That would be greatly appreciated. |

#50 Posted: 4/12/2012 2:37:59 PM I like the idea behind this system but seems like it would be hard to keep making a profit in the long run unless you keep avoiding sweeps. As an example if you hit your first 6 series all on the first game and go up 6U or so...if that 7th series is a sweep you lose 7U and then all your profits go away. It's great if you can keep avoiding sweeps but my only point is it doesn't take very many to make your profits disappear quickly. |
