Aye!!! I admitted I was wrong. Don't need to rub it in.

However...it helps my bet.

What is wrong with Adam Jones.  I think statistically he is having a decent year for where he was drafted.

For his speed...4 stolen bases? Now that is baffling.

Really... he is batting .258, 5 homers, 19 RBIs, 17 Runs & 4 SB.  That would equate to... .258 average, 25 homers, 95 RBIs, 85 runs, and 20 SB.  That is above average if you ask me (other than batting average).

People forget he is historically a slow starter too.

Come gravel at my feet and say you are sorry and admit you are an idiot for bumping this thread less than 150 ABs into his season.

I think he is batting about .290 with 6 HR and 26 RBIs now.

Those are pathetic numbers. He should be cut and told to go play inn the Japanese league.

1 thing is for sure. I will be the one bumping up my Mark Reynolds thread the next time he gets in some sort of an 0-30 slump.

Good win though. Soria was pitching very well after a shaky start to the season.

Sparky been extremely busy with a bunch of stuff... work, moving, baseball, back to school for a masters... hectic

Here is a stat about the Yankees you might not have even noticed.

Heard it on the radio and I was in awe.

8 Yankees are on pace to strike out 100 times this season.

0 Yankees are on pace for 100 walks.

Those are un Yankee like stats.

I haven't heard it but have noticed the lack of walks. Letting starters go deeper into games is a problem.

But what's hurting them the most is lack of hitting with RISP. It's really a joke. Even when they have 1 out. So many losses could have been wins with 1 hit from either of the players at bat in those situations. It's horrible and if they don't turn these 3 concerns around...they'll be watching in October.

And good luck with all the happenings in your life.

theres no point of a mark reynolds thread.....we all knew he was gamble for a very cheap price...i think the question really is, when will he be taken out of the everyday lineup.

I wish URISS was still around.

Adam Jones is doing his best to make him furious.

His K% has dropped slightly and he is laying off that breaking pitches off the outside corner that are usually his undoing. If he could ever start taking a walk he could be a real star.
