Placed a wager with pinnacle for the world championship game between Canada and Sweden.
The two bets on offer were Sweden -1 or Sweden +257 on the moneyline.
I took the moneyline. Sweden won in an shootout. The bet was declared a loser.
Pinnacle per their rules which states that all hockey bets are regulation time unless stated. Now, in all north american sports, overtime is included in your bet, and I did not consult the rules on this specific bet, as I assumed this would be likewise. However Pinnacle did not state that this game was regulation time only either on the betting menu or on the bet slip, which is either deceptive or an error of omission, either one.
There was no line of -0.5/+0.5 which could have made it clear that this was a regulation time only bet.
There also was no draw option as there is in soccer and this clearly was not a pointspread bet.
So, at a minimum I should be refunded my money as when there is a draw at full time the bet is considered over. The only time a draw is won/lost is when there is a pointspread bet or there is a draw option.
So far, pinnacle is telling me I have lost my bet, when at a maximum I should have won and at a minimum I should be refunded my money.
Here are pinnacle's rules.
Hockey
Unless otherwise stated, all wagers are for regulation time ONLY and do NOT include either overtime or penalty shootouts.
Example: The Rangers and Kings are tied 3-3 after regulation time and proceed to overtime. The Rangers eventually win. The final score for wagering purposes is Rangers 3, Kings 3.
If a line includes overtime, it will be clearly stated in the bet offer and clearly written on the ticket. Please check your ticket carefully.
Penalty Shootouts are expressly considered part of overtime. If a Penalty Shootout is contested, the winner will be credited with an extra goal.
Example: Dynamo and CSKA are tied 2-2 and proceed to a Shootout. Dynamo wins the Shootout. For our line matching "Dynamo including OT" vs "CSKA including OT", the final score for wagering purposes is Dynamo 3, CSKA 2.
Minimum time for action: Games must go a minimum of 55 minutes for action. If a game is suspended before 55 complete minutes are played, all bets on the outcome of the game are refunded.
Minimum time for action on Periods: The specific period must be played in its entirety for bets to stand. Otherwise, all bets on the period are refunded.
Goals in overtime or the shootout do not count toward bets on the 3rd period.

I used pinnacle during WC and for me there was a draw option and no ML option.
The +257 line look like its from 1x2 lines. In the bet-history site I use (decimal) ( https://www.betexplorer.com/hockey/world/world-championship/canada-sweden/UoNPOpx5/ ) it at least looks like it.
I also remember finding the layout with the draw option hard to see so I can understand if you missed it. It looked so similar to the NHL options and then the draw "tugged" in on a line by itself as I recall.
