I know who the Devils coach is. So it only goes one way with you? How about the fact that the Devils new coach knew all the tendencies and weaknesses of the Panthers players which is a much greater advantage. If you thought about it in your cavernous mind, before pissing out of your mouth you would know that coaches that leave teams have a very high winning percentage against their former teams the following season so the facts crap on your empty theory. So with that said. The Devils having the superior talent level and a coach that knows the players on the opposing team like the back of his hand, had a very clear and distinct advantage. They needed some timely calls and and an overtime hope shot to win despite having these glaring advantages. The Kamloops Blazers could have beaten could have beaten my Flyers who were completely emotionally empty and disinterested. Anyone who could not see the Rangers barely had enough energy to even skate in that Conference finals series, after playing the equivalent of 16 or 17 head banging, stressful hockey games needs to quit watching hockey. They never had a chance. The Kings got too overconfident after being up 3-0. And people can go on about two overtime losses all they want. The Devils had a pathetic 5 shots on net halfway through an opening stanley cup finals game on home ice, and that is just sad. They would have been shutout in that opening game had the Kings not been nice enough to score on their own net for them. The Kings were also nice enough to score the Devils game winning goal in game 5 on their own net. That series was not nearly as close as people like to pretend it was. Pack your garbage and go swing off of a rim somewhere.
