MIKE, sawman
Boston is my favorite play. As a Canucks fan I'd be lying if I said it wasn't painful to bet on the B's but money is money and I think they are the superior team in every aspect, including scoring depth, toughness, experience, coaching, goaltending, special teams, the list goes on...
Got the Devils at a great number as they are now down to +1555. Realistically I don't see them winning the Cup but it was too much value to pass up considering their first round match up.
Keep going back and forth on the Blues/Sharks and Wings/Preds series. Both could go either way

1P Grand Salami - Home -0.5 +113 - This bet holds some value at plus money. Pitt and Vancouver are two of the best 1P teams, while Detroit has gotten off to terrible starts on the road and often relied on 3P comebacks. If any road team has more than a 1 goal lead after the first this bet is probably screwed but with the teams that are playing I don't see it happening.
Still considering a series play on the Devils but I don't like laying such a high price at -200, especially on a team without home ice adv.
Updated First Round Predictions:
Rags in 5 Bruins in 5 Devils in 6 Pens in 7
Nucks in 6 Blues in 7 Hawks in 6 Wings in 7

1P Salami won easily with home teams winning 5-1. Giroux had a ton of chances but couldn't get on the scoreboard, while Crosby ended with 2pts although one was a phantom assist. Brutal start for the Canucks who looked like they were playing a regular season game.
Got two more for Thurs:
Wash/Bos 1P O1.5 +123 - I think the B's will try to test Holtby early and often. Should be a high energy start to the game with the potential for a few PPs. The games last night were being called pretty tight, though they let them play more than I expected in Pitt.
Most Pts - Boyle vs. Shattenkirk - Dan Boyle +113 - Should be a tight game. Boyle has been a playoff pt machine in the past and will play a ton of minutes. Both play on the PP but Boyle had more pts in the reg. season, plays more minutes per game and is a veteran player. I like the value.
Pending: Vancouver -1.5 games -103 (down 0-1) Boston -1.5 games -102 New Jersey +2160 (Stanley Cup future)

Another small winning night. Boyle got it done with 2pts while I was way off on the Bos/Wash game which was scoreless into OT.
Two more for Friday:
Pitt -0.5 (reg.) -113 - Definitely not a value play but I think the Pens bounce back after the Game 1 collapse. Expecting a similar result to the 4-2 final regular season meeting
Det/Nash U5 +111 - There were a ton of shots and PP opportunities in game 1 and the total still barely got to 5. Gaustad and Zetterberg goals were a bit lucky also. Expecting a goalie battle tonight and a tighter defensive effort by both teams
