Kidd was a good player, but three of those guys you named were mediocre & out of the NBA by age 30. They lost 4 straight to the Lakers by an avg of 9 or 10 pts a game
I'll give you this much....the Nets did make the Finals in the next year, and won 2 games vs Spurs. So that's probably better than the one-and-done Cavs or knicks teams in the past 15 years
