ALASKA+4.5 -It's Friday. Dogs day. Why not?
ALASKA/BMEG 180-UNDER -Trying the under yet again. Still a strong lean of mine.
*I was about to steer clear of the side bet on this game, but the pathetic TNT squad changed my mind, and reminded me how Fridays go. Let's see if the trend stays consistent. It's not really a chase bet, but more of a trend bet, so we'll see.

SMC-5.5
Was gonna go with ala but the underdogs got the first game. So I'm changing my bet to SMC instead.

#279 Posted: 10/5/2012 8:13:19 AM That exactly why i hate siding either of these teams! 24 points shaved in a quarter? they should have shown a little decency on betting public..if indeed, as planned, Meralco should win, they should have kept it close on every quarter to somehow conceal the customary basketball drama.. eventually on the 4th, tnt was not defending, rebounding or even their usual ball movement? just don't know, i think it definitely insulted every basketball enthusiast in this forum...

#280 Posted: 10/5/2012 8:48:52 AM If SanMig doesn't cover here, PBA is likely becoming NBA where amazing happens. Faves due for a cover already. So if you backed SMC, MOST likely you're gonna win. I'm not saying SURE WIN but percentage of faves are high here. That is of course, if there won't be any salesman in this match. |

From conception, up until now and couple of years thereafter, several games in PBA, NBA, NFL, BOXING etc...name it sir..number of event appearing in betting stations here and abroad are fixed so much so if it's well hyped games.. locally, if PBA and it's ruling board be sanitized, PBA, as clear as daylight, will die a natural death...so? keep it dirty while penalizing one who wishes to keep it clean...

#292 Posted: 10/7/2012 2:10:39 AM I think that Globalport has a better chance if the ball went to Gary D. Last game out Willie Miller ball hogged it. Hoping that they make adjustments later |

***0-4 day last Friday. Cannot get any better than that. TNT collapsing in the 4th, then Alaska/SMC giving the under a slight of hope only to crush it in the end.
On to today via MSW lines:
AIR21 +5.5 -I backed them against Barako, and will back them again. As expected, they collapsed in the final minutes of that game, robbing them a chance of a win (but a backdoor cover nonetheless). GP disappointed a lot of bettors on opening day, as they failed to keep close with Gin. I don't think they'll be able to make quick adjustments, and I will see this game to be close yet again. Hopefully, Air21 bags this game during crunch time though.
GINEBRA -2.5 -For me, this team is the 2nd strongest this season (TNT being the 1st of course). They upgraded on all facets of the game, with only sacrificing a little height (Enrico). If that GP game will be any semblance of their future games, TNT will be having their hands full of defending the crown. RoS played great against Petron in their 1st game, winning by almost 20 w/o their main PG Lee and Tiu getting sidelined. This was because they hit a bunch of 3s, especially their big men. That won't be happening tonight, because Ginebra aren't a big line-up, they are rather agile. I don't expect Belga and Quinahan to get a lot of open looks on 3s, since they will be guarded by quick big men of the Kings.
RAIN OR SHINE / GINEBRA 184.5 UNDER -In their first game, we witnessed the vast improvement of Ginebra offensively. Tonight, I believe they will demonstrate that they are still a potent defensive team. They know RoS likes to score a lot, and it would be more difficult beating them if the scores are high. I expect LA to walk the ball slowly, not forcing fast breaks. RoS will keep shooting those 3s as usual, but with the quick feet of Ginebra, transition points will not be as easy compared to the 16 fastbreak points they had against the slow Petron team.
Best of luck to all our bets.

#295 Posted: 10/7/2012 2:49:06 AM Surprised SMC is being underrated to start the season. Ginebra the 2nd strongest team? Wow. |

Air-GP UNDER 192.5 Global Port is a whole different team now. I dont think they are as explosive as they were when they have a PG lime Casio. Miller is a scoring big guard who can no longer dominate and dictate the pace of the game. I see them reachingsomewhere near 90. Air seems to have an easy time in the first half getting them points against Barako but looked themselves in the second half. Pumaren and Capacio are defensive coaches so go figure! |

#298 Posted: 10/7/2012 2:53:45 AM Global and Ginebra!
ROs is not in Ginebra's league without any point guard around. norwood/chan combi won't stand a chance against a solid backcourt of ginebra.
Global will get on track this time after a 20pt blowout against ginebra. Air21 is just too soft for this league - i guess hehe :D |
