we bought some green peanuts at the farmer's market and the wife did a good job cooking them to get the right texture but they aren't seasoned very well.  anyone know how to make good ones?  what do you throw in the mix for seasoning?

They have to be prepared by someone who knows what the darn they're doing..

I've had some disgusting bags of that stuff in North Carolina,,  I would never try and prepare them myself,,

don't make me send my wife up to maryland, stiln.  no seriously, can i send my wife up to maryland?  

with boiled peanuts there are two issues, you have to cook them the right length and temperature so they aren't over or undercookedt and you have to season them right.  she did great with the former, but not the latter.

Yeah if you're wife knows how to season and cook them the right amount of time kudos to her,,

I would never try to make prepare boiled peanuts myself its tough, You have to use a ton of salt  though
