#1 Posted: 8/5/2009 5:49:35 PM I WENT TO THE GYM THE OTHER DAY (MONDAY) WORKED MY UPPER BODY AND NOW WEDNESDAY UNBELIEVABLE SORENESS MY FIRST TIME LIFTING IN AWHILE FEELS LIKE I HAVE BRUISES ON MY BODY LIKE FEELS LIKE MY CHEST GOT PUNCHED 100 TIMES LOL HOW CAN I SPEED UP THE HEALING PROCESS AND HOW DO I KNO I DIDNT STRAIN OR PULL ON MUSCLES? THANKS  |

#4 Posted: 8/7/2009 2:30:39 AM hmmm well i went to the gym monday and today is friday morning and still cant lift up my right arm and my right side of my chest still feeling like its bruised from 100 punches when do u think its time to see a doctor i just dont wanna go to early and find out its only sore then ill feel dumb thankssssssss |

#9 Posted: 11/27/2010 9:29:34 PM well first off if you strained or pulled something you would feel it immediately.second just let it run its course. your bodies not use to the workload and the pain you feel is your muscles learning to adjust to the workload so just take some pain relivers and rest it off, but not to long

#15 Posted: 12/19/2010 6:59:40 AM Difficult to tell if an injury is a strain, sprain, fracture or dislocation. Basic treatment is similar. Apply ice to reduce pain, swelling and promote healing. Take aspirin for pain and inflammation. If there is no improvement after 1-2 days, see a doctor. Heat treatment may be used after 2-3 days if swelling is gone. Also good sleep and nutrition help too. |
