$100 a day is more than enough to live here. Things are so cheap here. I remember they had a site called Cheapo Vegas...tells you how to live here for less than $20 a day, food, sleep, etc. Everything you need. Now it's a bit more...but $100 is plenty to live a fantastic lifestyle. Remember, what they said...one man's butter is another man's behind tissue. People get greedy the more they have. You need to be happy with what you got in order to really appreciate life.

I think poor people are blessed more than greedy rich people

Cool man! I just don't see how people can vacation here and be satisfied. (Maybe bcuz they lose all their money? lol) For me, there is just way too much to do for even an entire lifetime you couldn't experience all there is to do here. There is infinite here, it only gets boring if you don't know how to live here. I know way too many people who rely on gambling when they come here and that never works out. That is why they get bored and go back home. It's a money/mind issue. This place has far more to do than most any other city in the world...so no reason to live anywhere else. Also this place has an excellent vibe. darn all those jealous people who said it was filled with negative energy...it's not. Sure, you got your fakes, scam artists, drugs and all that. But what city doesn't? I actually like the people here better than the east coast where I came from. Also you got plenty of tourists which come here, so a wide variety of people from all over. I've seen the scummiest of people here and I can tell you they still have warm hearts deep, deep, deep down to the point of where people can't understand...lol well stay safe

Yes sir! All you need is a tiny little chip (and a chair). Just something to keep you alive. Poker is awesome. Me and my girl played a tourney recently at the casino together. Ironically she had a straight flush. She flopped the nut flush as well. I also was in the hand and I hit a flush on the flop. I thought I was good, although I thought she was on a nut flush draw...I slow played her and she got greedy, and went all in on the river, which I had checked. She hit a straight flush on the river...but I hit a higher straight flush!

So I called and to her disappointment I knocked her out of the tourney. LOL that's what she gets for trying to knock me out going all in like that! The other guys at the table were in shock, they were like "Well somebody's sleeping on the couch tonight!" Funny garbage, good times...I ended up going on to get 3rd place in the tourney. But I thought to tell this story bcuz I was high stacked, 3 people left, I had about 30k and one guy only had 1 chip left. He ended up knocking me out....so just a point there all you need is a chip. I looked to be solid with only 3 people left...and I didn't even make it heads up.

newyorkslim, kudos for giving it a shot, always wanted to give it a shot, but because of family it would not have been a fair tradeoff. So I will live thru your dream, keep posting your status, I would like to know, I am pulling for you.

Mgmprofits.. you need to come over to the political forum and tell the greedy right wing nuts over there about your values in life. I'm sure you're a democrat too.

Anyone can make an easy $100 per day out here (or much more)if you have a professional system as I do.

In other words, the minimum to live the dream would be $0. You do not need a dime to start. But obviously unless you wish to be homeless I'd recommend enough to rent a place, as well as for food and bankroll. The bankroll required for my Holy Grail system is only $150 to start.

I have never lost in the long term with it. It works consistently, so the problem with most people out here is that they don't know how to play or win. That is why it costs them so much. Las Vegas is actually one of the cheaper places to live in the country, so if you're not a loser, this is a good place to come and live.

MGM- I just posted in Hardball Harry's thread as well. Struggling Pilot living in Vegas- own a spot walking distance from Red Rock casino. Trying to find some other source of income to supplement my paychecks of this garbage industry im in, would love to learn your holy grail system if you offer it. Any advice or guidance?

I lived in Vegas for 15 years worked construction during the boom. I would bet from 55 to 5500 depending on bankroll. I once turned 20 bucks into 17,000 on baseball and basketball. I would make 50,000 on good football season, on bad seasons lose 12,000. I was discipline at times and at times not. I have seen the best and worst gamblers.  The dream can be had but I would handicap for hours and have good systems. That being said sports betting is the hard thing to do for a living, Billy Walters is the best but he made some of his money in the Vegas real estate boom. If a few big bets didn't go his way he would be on this forum like the rest of us. I wouldn't tell you not to follow your dream but all newbies come in bright eyed, until reality sets in.

Living in Vegas you do get caught up somewhat in the lifestyle un less you have been castrated LOL. When big money is made hot women come along with the territory. One tip I would suggest is try to keep a low profile, especially now in the rough economy in Vegas, I know guys that look for people who cash big to take em down. Another thing is know what you are good and sometimes the best bet is the one not made.

This ain't Disneyland lol, Vegas is a great place but some guys who win sometimes brag. If I hit for 5 grand I'm on alert with people I know lol. Just be smart, predators are all over in this town men and women. If you walk around anywhere in the country with a sign on your forehead saying I just won 5 grand you will get attention even in a old folks home.

I fear nothing, Always been my problem in life, but the issue isnt the moron who goes about bragging about what he won, the issue here statboy is you said YOU KNOW GUYS WHO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO HIT BIG SO THEY CAN ROB HIM.

I know it aint disneyland, but if I knew of any guy doing what you say they are doing, I wouldnt hesitate to get these people locked up or even better dead.
