Sup dudes. NBA has not been kind to me lately, and I bet too many lines lately. Looking at the card today, I see a lot of funky games with lots of b2bs. I have a bit of time this Saturday morn and spelling things out sometimes help me to avoid bad bets. No LA games today, unfortunately.
Hippies are unbettable, although it is tempting to take them 1H or over 1H but I think I will resist the temptation.
ATL @MIA: well, again Hawks have been struggling a bit lately, and they do not seem to have the firepower to overcome a cold night, the way GSW can. Their D is top notch, but Dragic introduces an X-factor that makes under a bit scary.
Grizz@Wolves: Grizz seem to be lacking energy lately, while Wolves are playing better with Rubio back. Hmm. If I had to pick, it'd be Wolves ATS.
Nets@Mavs: Mavs and Rondo are like oil and water. So 8.5 pts to Mavs, really ? But BKN is on a b2b and they are not exactly loaded with talent.
Bucks@Jazz: the Bucks seem to be struggling after trading Knight (bad move, even if it was made to save money) but I would still lean them ATS. But then again, betting against Jazz have been a very risky prop lately.
Spurs@Suns: Spurs suck but we are still talking about good old Spurs and they are playing their direct competitor for a spot in playoffs so I would imagine they will try to win tonight.
Tor@NYK: this is maybe the only game I like enough to make a lean. The cRaptors are on a quiet 4-game losing streak and they were just embarrassed by GSW; Lowry plays like sh.t, maybe he decided to become a TNT analysts full time. The Knicks have just produced an upset to break a losing streak. So ? I think Raptors are ready to break the streak, and I like Tor 1H and maybe over 1H: Raptors are rested (starters did not play that much last night) while NYK is coming off a tough 2OT win.
This also feels like an unders night. Hmm. GL folks.

Noles, long time no hear buddy. Nice to see you back on the thread buddy.
I like what you did today Ax, you went through all the games and spelt it out nicely mate. Really good read mate..
The card is fugly IMO, some fugly games with some fugly injuries. RW just had face surgery after getting booted in the head yesterday by Roberson. Most likely misses tomorrow's game vs Lakers but should be back for the 76ers. Beal is suiting up today as well for the Wizards, they must be getting desperate as they have lost 6 straight and have slid down the ladder in the East. Pierce is also playing for the Wizards.
Will be back soon, need to stop playing totals and just focus on ATS.

Well remember how i said the other day, the Nuggets are 2-18 ATS when scoring less than 90 points in their previous game and 0-20 S/U? Well that comes into play tomorrow when they face the Pelicans..

Arghh, no Lowry. Good thing I did not bet much. And I committed a cardinal sin of betting against a streak. The "due" factor does not really exist. Shoulda taken hippies with Beal instead. Btw, with RW out/playing injured, Blazers futures to win the division is as good as a lock. It was still at -550 at 5d today, but I did not have much free money there left. I bet tomorrow it will be at -1000 or so.

I expect the Spurs to win tonight as well Ax, like you said, Suns are one of their direct competitors and I think with Pop playing all his guys today as well, they should beat the Suns. Only issue for me is the Spurs are on B2B..

It's just that the Spurs have not been playing well at all for the past 30 games or so, Aussie. I have seen bits and pieces of a few games involving Spurs and at times they just suck, I mean D-league level suck: Leonard would shoot like 1-for-10, Duncan tries but looks slow, TP sometimes disappears, Green completely disappears, Manu plays hard but sometimes keeps playing like a f.cktard. I just do not see any upside there. They are still getting a lot of respect by the linemakers, probably b/c idiots like me keep taking them based on their past glory days. Then again, the Suns are not exactly loaded with talent and basketball IQ, and they are too small.
I am not touching the rest of the card, and I might even take a longer break and/or just tail here and there.

Yeah good point buddy. Im staying away today.. Card was ugly and don't want to push anything. Is that Klon guy for real on the NBA forum? Everything he is on seriously is a loss. Its just a crazy run. He is on Spurs as well so I will stay away..

Yeah, he seems to be the wiz. But he won his last bet, I think POR -6.5. But he is a serious force to reckon with. I think tailing him is as risky as going against Wagers on a hot streak.

See you later, fellas. Some early games tomorrow. I think Lakers are hosting OKC sans their big two. I wonder what the line will be. OKC would still be more talented, but they rely on RW too much to close games for them and without him it might be tricky. Will Augustine come through or not ?
