#27 Posted: 10/6/2012 12:01:01 AM Mixed night but overall down. The UFC plays were money, going 5-4 +3.5 units, but the Bellator plays were beyond brutal, going 0-4 - 6.95 units. I really have to stop betting on some of these dumb fighter IQ Bellator fighters...
If only Simpson and Castillo had been able to finish their respective opponents in the first round when they had their opponents completely rocked...Oh well...
Here is the recap:
UFC:
1. Parlay of Jacob Volkmann and John Dodson
2. Parlay of Travis Browne and Josh Neer
3. Parlay of Jake Ellenberger , and Darren Uyenoyama
4. Marcus Levesseur
5. Aaron Simpson ,
6. Danny Castillo ,
7. Josh Neer - Justin Edwards under 2.5 rounds Not as I expected it to finish...
8. Bart Palaszewski
9. Travis Browne - Bigfoot Silva under 1.5 rounds
Bellator:
1. Brett Rogers
2. Mark Holata ,
3. Mike Wessel - Richard Hale over 1.5 rounds ,
4. Mike Wessel , |

#28 Posted: 10/6/2012 12:04:04 AM If you did not catch Bellator, I suggest you search out the end of the fight on line. It's a shame Prindle got DQ'd, but if you know the history between these 2, I think Prindle got his sweet revenge... |

I disagree. I think Levesseur has some solid skills but is simply fighting at the wrong weight class. He is probably the smallest guy at 155lbs in the UFC. I think he would be better off fighting guys his own size at 145. |

#31 Posted: 10/6/2012 9:42:35 AM Perhaps. I wasn't familiar with him leading up to this fight. But I thought he was newer to the sport. Guy has fought 27 times and debuted in 2003. If he can't handle what is maybe the worst WW in teh UFC then he isn't going to be that good in any weight class. For 27 fights he has very little skill outside of wrestling.
Castillo really should have won that fight. Not sure why he didn't posture up and reign blows when he had him mounted with a arm trapped. Instead he went for a head and arm and then moved to side to try and finish it. Untrapping Johnson's arm. Then he goes back to mount? Made no sense.

#32 Posted: 10/6/2012 9:43:53 AM He is a wrestler. Why isn't he cutting as much weight as he can? he is certainly used to cutting weight.
I don't see much in the guy. I thought he got 2 rounds. But I wouldn't of been shocked or anything if they gave it to Prater.

#34 Posted: 10/6/2012 10:48:51 AM Levesseur could def move down a weight class. Too much upper body mass |
