I could really see this fight going either way.  In the end, I pussed out and went with Bisping -180 on a parlay.  It seems to me that either Either Bisping wins or he gets knocked out.  This is such an important fight for Bisping, and Stann's take-down d is so suspect, that I'd be surprised if Bisping didn't do one of his trip take downs in each of the three rounds.  Even if he doesn't get him down, Bisping is very elusive (I believe I read somewhere that he has 71 percent miss ratio on punches).  Like I said, I definitley couldn't see Stann knocking him out, but I also could see Bisping easily lasting 15 minutes with a guy he's better than in almost every area, other than power shots.  What do you guys think?

Stann is a beast but he seems a little immature in the octagon (like you said against takedown attempts) and he's never faced anyone like Bisping.. Bisping is a seasoned striker with heart so he's gonna be tough.. My heart says Bisping but my heads telling me that Vegas isn't gonna let Jones AND Bisping win.. Probably lay off this one or a small bet on Stann..

Vegas isn't going to let Bisping and Jones win?  Why not?

I dunno cuz EVERYONE will be on them.. 2 biggest fights on the card..

Not saying they aren't gonna let both win but it just feels 'square' to take both..

I don't even really count the Jones fight - I don't see anyone beating him at this time...

and I think -180 on Bisping is pretty accurate...I mean vegas is going to see plenty of action on both fighters, I would imagine...

btw, i could care less if I make a sharp or square wager...i think following line movement as the main basis for making a wager is downright foolish - not saying you're doing that, of course.

It still boggles the mind how underrated Bisping is.  I like Stann.  I think he has good standup and power.  Bisping is one of the most well rounded fighters in the UFC though.

Bisping by dec.

Stann matches up badly with just about every top MW. Bispings no exception. Bisping by UD

As much as he rubbed me the wrong way opposite of Dan Henderson on TUF, I respect his skills and he will go probably go down as the best MMA fighter to ever come out of the UK unless someone is escaping me right now. Stann's striking is "good" but Bisping is a much more technical striker, if he circles AWAY from Stann's power...I don't see how Stann wins.

One concern is stann's power + bispsing's tendency to start off slow. meh, gimme The Count all day.

esprague - I don't bet using that strategy but it can push me off bets or onto bets.. I do have a system I use to cap 'how people are feeling' and Stann should be feeling a little better for this fight.. I'll most likely stay away on this one I think it's a tough matchup to cap because I respect both mens 'heart'..

Also I do not see Jones losing either no doubt in my mind.. System clearly shows Jones feeling good and Belfort is in a low spot for the fight..

"He's kind of a one-trick pony," Bisping said of Stann. "He's got some power in his hands and that's about it. Obviously in mixed martial arts, grappling, jiu-jitsu, wrestling and all that, he doesn't seem too skilled in those areas. Most of his losses have come when he's been outwrestled and outgrappled, so yeah, l've looked at that. Chael Sonnen threw him around like a rag doll, but Chael Sonnen's an Olympic-level wrestler. I'm a better-level wrestler than Brian Stann, but I'm not an Olympic wrestler, so I can't .... styles make fights is what I'm trying to say. Am I going to be able to do what Chael Sonnen did? Maybe not, you know, so, I've got to prepare in other ways. I've been training with a new boxing coach, Jason Parillo. I feel my boxing is second to none. I'm going to try to go out there and put the pressure on him."

I remember when Bisping called Dan Henderson " a one trick pony"

Doesn't mean Bisping was wrong about Hendo. He just got beat by the one trick

I'd say Bisping was wrong about Henderson. Hendo has Olympic level wrestling and has been training BJJ for the better part of the last decade (albeit mostly defensive). I'd say that's the opposite of a one trick pony.

We Move,

You have a system for betting UFC?  Good luck with that...I love betting on it, but it's highly unpredictable, which makes it such an awesome sport to follow.

This wemovelines guy is beyond an idiot.

Vegas won't let Bisping and Jones win....

Since when does Vegas get in the cage and fight for the result of the Bisping/Stann fight?

For 1 - I never said Vegas wasn't gonna let both win. I said it 'seems' square to put both in a parlay.

For 2 - I guess you don't think judges judge decisions. Guess you've never seen a crooked decision??

You are completely useless and I was giving my opinion. Thanks for coming out.

Is anyone else worried about us getting our fools handed to us in this Bisping fight, since almost all of us are on him.  I think Whipton's on Stann.

Check post 2.  You clearly say "but my heads telling me that Vegas isn't gonna let Jones AND Bisping win."
