Houston played a really bad team in Oakland, and before that was Washington, now having to go from west to east while the Giants stay at home for a second week. Houston might be overhyped in this situation. I think Houston Is the better team but in this situation I would pick NYG to win.

Giants sure could win, they are at home!! What I don't get is why you guys have to convince yourself Hou is over-hyped. Most of the people aren't going to think too highly of a team that was 2-14 last year, especially they started out 2-0 last year, too. Betting-wise, there will be more people on the Giants than the Texans because:
1. They are at home.
2. They are "due" and "desperate".
3. No one thinks highly of Ryan Fritzpatrick.
4. Giants have a much much bigger fan-base than Houston.
Giants could win but the "preceived" value is just not going to there.

I don't know how you get your "public perception" but I can get stations from Hou area. Barring a few die-hards, the overall sentiment is, "Well, it's nice to be 2-0 but they have a new system/coaching staff and a career journeyman at QB, the 2nd week on the road facing a 'desperate" team, Eli>ryan,...etc." The biggest thing is ," Giants must and will win this game because they don't want to be down 0-3(who would?) against a team like Hou, especially before they head to their division games. Btw, losing the next game is different than losing the rest of the games.
Again, Giants might win but we just disagree on the perception. The public, if anything, will be more inclined to side with the Giants and that's all I am saying.

Texans the last 2 years have been over hyped ,this year no one was talking about them at all .They have quitley turned around there whole way of playing ,this grind it out don't TO the ball offense ,and what now ,without Clowney is one of the best def, around .True they haven't beat anyone ,but your forgetting the Giants are no one either this year ,Only thing I agree is not a good spot for Texans .This new offense that has ELI baffeled will take a few more weeks .This is a big game for them being that they have to play the real team that's gonna play better in there division in the Redskins ,with Cousins getting the ball. ,(watch this team make some noise in the east now ).Giants can easily be 0-4 after net week .

And that's why I would take the over. Both teams turning the football over which often lead to points.
