I picked the LaSalle - St. Joes matchup which has been postponed.... is the pick going to be unlocked, will it count when the game is officially played?  Or is that pick an automatic loss?

I also had that game selected. As per the contest rules, we are "hooped". What I cannot understand is that if this pick stands, why was I forced to pick another NCAAB game with my one remaining selection today? That seems like complete bullshit to me. Rizz, any explanation onthis?

I had locked in 3 picks earlier today. One from each sport. Bad enough that my NCAAB was postponed, garbage happens, but for my final selection all I was offered was another NCAAB game?  Why?

Same thing happened to me on the George Mason/Towson game tonight. My pick has been "VOID"ed. I bet we are out of luck...

Unless they give it to us when the re-scheduled game is played which makes the most sense to me.

My Towson/ George Mason game was voided too and put on today's date so I was only able to pick 3 games today. Why?

One of two things happened... the reason you only had NCAAB to pick from might have been because the other sports had no games left to pick from... or... because your NCAAB game was not played... the computer made you pick from that group. Either way... it is what it is... and that's that. Make your play and move on.

Just like in baseball, if the game is called off... YOUR BEAT!! You don't get another pick and it won't ever count if they play the game down the road. Bottom line... look at weather reports and if you know the east coast is getting hit with a foot or more of snow... STAY AWAY FROM GAMES IN THAT AREA. For me... all I had to do was look out my window to know this.

Hey Guys,

In the event of a postponed, suspended, cancelled, or removal of a event for any reason (Rain Delay, Act of God, Death, Re-Schedule, etc) participants will not be able to submit an alternate pick for that day as a replacement.

Now for the Towson/GM game, that game was PPD and someone in the office last night tried to fix the matter by changing the game time to today instead of removing the game and putting it in again with the new rotation numbers.

I got IT to fix this so anyone who picked this matchups will now be able to make 4 picks today.

That would be trotter64. He is a self prolaimed handicapping god. He got lucky once and won a few small prizes from covers (as you might notice he likes to show it off in his little picture lol). Dont worry man he's a nobody so dont pay attention to him.

Yeah, his survivor and ultimate race picks are correct at a 51.5% clip.  I'm not dying to know his picks.

A few small prizes? Hmmm last two months... those "small" prizes came to $1300... over all on covers... $4000 total. I'm guessing you have taken this place for more? and having your name pulled out of a hat for a grand prize does not count. So tell me chevy... let me here your numbers...would you like to compare? See you say I'm a "nobody"... but people who play in the contests/office pools around here... no better.

"Legit question" did you say? I guess so... if you're blind and could not read the rules... and or have no clue to what's going on, but looking at that blazing start you're off to, 3259th place with a record of 10-12 45% just might confirm which one.

The first clue that your "legit question" was easy to answer... was the amount of other players in this contest who had the same "problem" as you did... TWO out of hundreds if not more... then thought it was such a "legit question" they came to the forum to ask for help.

Curse words... that all you have for me? Like another poster said... classy... but then again, would did I think you would say after a question that 99.97 of covers knew the answer to.

Rizz has nightmares about saying this so many times a day, so I'll say it... READ THE POSTED RULES.

Of course I read the rules. I am not questioning the cancelled game. I had 1 selection remaining. Since my 3 picks were in already why was I limited to one sport when there was other selections available? Perhaps you could quote me that from your knowledge of the rules. The other 2 posters you referred to were talking about the cancelled game. Try to comprehend what you read. Thanks for all your help.

Yes GeneralChaos, it was easy for me to figure out that your comment was directed at my foul language. What you cant seem to understand is that I wasn't responding to you.

This is going to be fun... this "Nobody"...for now... and I know you can see me above you... will give you all you can handle in this contest.

But I have an unfair advantage... you have to do "homework" every night... My diploma is hanging on the wall already.
