#9 Posted: 5/4/2012 1:30:35 PM The big hitters that were having success early on (Muller, Rosol) with the fast dry surface is now gone. It rained cats and dogs last night which slowed the courts down by at least 20% i'd say. It is actually more like a regular clay court now.
With the slower surface, Andujar and Seppi become more of a favorite than they were yesterday.

#10 Posted: 5/4/2012 1:40:02 PM I was on Rosol today and his serve was not nearly as effective as it was yesterday. He was hitting service winners and through Hanescu like clockwork yesterday. Today, he looked like a Women just floating it into play to get the rally started against Andujar. He had no chance that way.
Muller had better success serving, but the same idea against Seppi. I actually like to see talent prevail and not just some big server that can do much of anything else. I actually cannot stand big servers with no ground game. I used to dislike isner, but now he has more of an all around game and now I'm a fan.

I agree with your isner comment. What's your take on raonic? |

I like Raonic and his progression. He is getting better by every match he plays. He is still a little raw and wet behind the ears IMO. There is still not much room for error for him like there is for Delpo, Berdych or even Soderling. These guys can still win ugly. I don't think Raonic is there yet.
I say this because I expect big things from him in the near future and don't think he's reach his potential yet. I think he's a top 10-15 player as soon as next year. I definitely expect him to finish the year in the top 15-20. Probably 18ish.

#13 Posted: 5/4/2012 3:52:43 PM I think Isner's ceiling is 8 like Fish. I have Raonic's ceiling right about there. You need an all court game to be a fixture in the top 7 these days. Tsonga won't last long in the top 5. I expect him to drift back to 8-10 soon.
