The May Day protests by OccupySF came to a violent conclusion when one of the Occupiers went berserk and started attacking police with bricks, chunks of concrete and then later iron bars, throwing them from the roof of an “occupied” building at the cops below.

Horrifyingly, his aim was off, so instead of hitting the police, he hit a random bystander, who began to bleed profusely. One inch to the right or left, and that brick could have easily killed the victim.

The Occupy movement, IMO is a societal and order disrupting movement created by Communists, to wreak anarchy so they can take over.

If the term “useful idiots” ever had a better example, I’m unaware of it.

These people are disrespectful fools, and in no way even remotely comparable to the Tea Party.

I suspect they’re mostly young and impressionable. They really don’t know how good they have it compared to other geographics and epochs.

The 60s hippies put this crew to shame. They were idealistic, and rejected, for the most part violence. (Bill Ayers being the exception)

Change, IMO, is inevitable. But cannot we now see that change, without a specified articulation of WHAT KIND OF CHANGE, is just unbridled emotion run amok?

I believe these people, I’m sure with some exceptions, are envious, misguided, young people being manipulated by the Socialist elite.

I really wonder what Soros’s motivation is. In reality, I know. He want’s power to control the masses and I’ll bet has a severe Messianic complex.

On May 1st, at Union Sqare in New York, the organizers of Occupy had set up a stage for their invited speakers to speak to the assembled gaggle of malcontents and totalitarians known as "Occupy" (for example, I saw the flags of Red China, Venezuela, Cuba and others--but no American flags). At one point a group took to the stage, started screaming in spanish and displayed a red and black flag with white letters spelling "MIR."
