#1 Posted: 10/14/2011 5:06:11 PM Put a 3 lb bottom round roast in the crockpot this morning at 9AM.
Cooked in there with 2 bottles of guiness, one chopped onion, carrots, garlic and I added mushrooms later.
Am going to serve over egg noodles.
Smelling this stuff and not being able to eat it for another 2 hrs is killing me.
Pot roast kicks so much behind it isn't even fair to other meals.

#4 Posted: 10/14/2011 11:37:40 PM Just bought a crock pot today. Ive eaten so many good things that have come out of that so I had to get my own. Determining what first meal I make tomorrow is the hard part.

Some people will girl about the shrooms but they will still lick the plate.

Actually, I keep my pot "clean"........ no shrooms but love shrooms.

#14 Posted: 11/2/2011 4:39:36 PM I have never made a pot roast with guiness, but it's a damn fine idea. |
