Okay so I was banned from the forum for a few days for "touting" my website which is apparently not allowed So I will now just copy and paste what is there here for you all to see
Race 1
1 Catalan - Hard to figure who is going to stay in the race after the scratches are out but this one has ran well on a good going before . Comes back off a layoff after facing a decent field with Blind Hope and Black Rhino
2 Taparoot - Three length victory in a 30K claimer last time out. Drops in class a bit here shipping in from Churchill.
7 Madman Diaries - First off the claim for Carlos Guerrero . This trainer has good numbers with first claims but has not had much success at Aqueduct at all. (9-0-0-1). Just one start on a track listed as good last time out and it was a decent effort. Not sure how he will take to the slop
Race 2
OFF THE TURF
10 Amberjack- This MTO entrant looks tough to beat. 2nd time out for Romans. Took some money in debut and ran pretty evenly to finish third. Being out of A.P Indy the stretch out should help.
9 Run to Class - First career start sprinting on dirt was a dull effort but he was bumped after the start so there is an excuse. Came back routing on turf and just missed two weeks ago. The turf pedigree is not that strong and maybe the distance helped rather than the surface in last.
8 Everydoghashisday -
Third off the layoff and a bullet work in last. Showed speed while
returning off that layoff on dirt but faded. Then switched to turf and
ran a decent race to finish third despite having to go 6 wide . Maragh
remains which is a positive.
Race 3
8 Tricked out Tux - Back on the track after a 2 month layoff. Started his career in an off the turf event and was bumped badly at the break and probably lost all chances. Earned a 53 beyer while sprinting on the turf in a MSW in his last effort before being put on the shelf. Trainer and Jockey have won together before. Could be a nice price despite dropping in class.
?4 Two Blue - ?
Just looking for a fresh face in here. Wilmer Garcia aboard is a plus
and if I remember correctly the sire Roaring Fever was good on a wet
track .
2 El Dreamer - Taking 2-1 on career maidens would leave me with rabbit ears sticking out of my pockets as I exit the track. This horse has had too many chances to get it done against this type of company for me to endorse. This field is not a strong one however and he could get it done. I will use underneath and leave off my multi race tickets.
Race 4
OFf THE TURF
10 Tahima- Re -claim by Gary Gullo this filly has run well on the main track before. She has showed speed and just missed a few times. Hard to figure the pace scenario with all the scratches to come but there does not seem to be a ton of speed in the race.
12 Mrs. Calabash - MSW to MCL , a bullet work and going turf to dirt. There are a lot of positives here. 4-5 morning line is not one of them.
4 Maggie R - Showed speed and faded in return effort after a month and a half off. Maybe she needed that race back. Regular rider Eddie Castro aboard for George Weaver. Daughter of Officer should not mind the slop.
Race 5
1 Red Jack - Finished 5 lengths ahead of Willy Pay two starts back. For some reason he did not run a step in the last effort. Positive rider switch to C. Velasquez.
7 Will Pay - Faced tougher 3 starts back at Belmont in the mud and finished 2nd behind Political Justice who is a pretty fast horse. The slop certainly helps his chances.
?5 Jet Set Cat - ? Besides the top two
there is not much to write home about. This one has enough early speed
to be in it at the quarter pole and maybe can hang on for a piece.
Race 6
8 Mudflats - Cuts back in distance after running greenly in last behind Pletcher trainee Delhomme. Blinkers should help this one behave better and Keneally is real sharp with 2YO's . Mudflats in the slop?
6 Elnaawi - 500K Street Sense colt has been working sharply. Mclaughlin has two pricey colts in here but I prefer this one over the 2nd time starter going turf to dirt.
3 Kenalantic - This horse showed speed while on turf in first start off layoff. Back to Maragh and back to the off track. These are the types of horses Mott gets going at large prices. Must be respected.
Using the other Mclaughlin trainee 7 Kid Lightning in multi race bets as well.
Race 7
?OFF THE TURF
?14 Towering Moon - ? Exits key race where the first second and third place finishers came back to win. This MTO Malibu Moon colt will be a short price but must not be taken lightly.
?7 Anaphylaxis - ?Mainly running on the turf in his career this one adjusted to the dirt nicely in last race finishing just behind solid state bred Sportwriter. Seemed to navigate the yielding turf okay. perhaps he may relish the slop as well.
?3 ReadtheProspectus- ?Started career on
the dirt for Chad Brown sprinting . Routed on turf in last and broke
maiden. Being out of Read The Footnotes the added distance was bound to
help. Can he translate that effort back to the dirt and in the slop?
These rainy days pose many questions for the handicapper.
Race 8
?5 San Pablo - ?If the slop doesnt stop him I am not sure anything will.
?6 Isnt He Perfect- ?Will try to give them the slip early here but will not be able to get away from San Pablo. Can he hold on deep stretch?
2 Arch Traveler - ?
Has been a bit of a disappointment in his career after a promising start
but usually gives a decent effort and can get a pive of this .
Race 9
?10 Late Night Action - ?Won by open lengths in last effort which was in the mud against similar.
?8 Shootdeworx - ?
Traffic in last hurt this ones chances . If the battle up front crumbles
this one could be moving well late. First off the claim for Gallucio
this one should show improvement.
?15 Political Justice - ?Will battle with late Night Action up front in here Last effort was not good and runs with 2 bar shoes again.
