#1 Posted: 4/2/2012 10:23:20 PM What I'm looking at:1) experience 2) experience 3) experience 4) ball striking - not just GIR, but the guys that hit it pure, can land it on a dinner table, and know what it's gonna do when it lands 5) putting 6) putting 7) putting 8) scrambling 9) comfort moving it right to left off the tees 10) driving distance
Don't overthink it, past experience here usually goes a long way to capping these matchups! My full tourney plays will come from this list after I get actual lines (these are pinny's current lines), I do a little more homework, and hopefully some good feedback from all of you:
Woods-105 o McIlroy Donald-111 o Mickelson Donald-102 o Westwood Rose-119 o Bradley Scott-101 o Mahan Scott-111 o Bradley Stricker-128 o Garcia Stricker-144 o Watney Kuchar-152 o Kaymer Simpson-138 o Kaymer McDowell-108 o Oosthuizen Snedeker-113 o Fowler Cabrera+105 o Harrington Van Pelt-140 o Haas Yang-117 o Bjorn Karlsson-147 o Quiros Ishikawa+121 o Singh

#2 Posted: 4/2/2012 10:50:51 PM I really want to like Bubba here too, with his length and ability to shape the ball, I find it a bit baffling that he's not done better here in the past. He's only shot better than 71 just once in 12 rounds, I really just can't understand that one. He's 1st in GIR this year, and was 9th last year. |

#3 Posted: 4/2/2012 11:05:09 PM Bubba's distance control has gotten better but I'm not sure his putting is cut out for the greens @ Augusta. I would bet he'll score better this year but don't know if he'll be in contention.

#4 Posted: 4/2/2012 11:08:14 PM Love your work as per usual mate.
I really like one of the big boys to take it out this week. Not say Tiger will be really after what he did winning by 5 in his last start and being 1 of only 2 players under par in the last 8 groups that tells yous a lot, add to that he is putting like the GOD he is again and hitting it good off the tee.
+650 for TIGER in this situation is great value imo |

#5 Posted: 4/2/2012 11:08:40 PM Yeah, he's been 117 or worse the last 3 years in SGP, I guess that would explain it. |

Thanks Snake.
I won't be able to get him at anything close to 650, but that does look pretty tasty. Right now I just listed Tiger against Rory, because I figure by the time I get lines for him against Lefty and Westwood, they're gonna be a bit higher than I would play. If not though, I will definitely be looking for more opportunities to play on him - especially against Westwood. My next choice would be against lefty. I'm not too sure about laying the big juice against Donald though |

#8 Posted: 4/3/2012 9:21:30 AM Match ups wise i'm out big on van pelt over oosthuizen at -110, van pelt is first in SGP, he has a great combo of length and precision (6th in total driving) he doesnt have to much experience at augusta but finished 8th last year and has shown great form so far this year. Oosthuizen finally found some good play last week but his form has generally been pretty poor and he doesnt usually do well at the Masters as he is 0-3 missing the cut the last 3 years. Think this is kind of a missmatch and very good value on van pelt.
I am also on Stricker against watney at -110. He has the experience, the putter and a really good short game. He has the formula to do well at Augusta, maybe just lacks a little length. Watney has been pretty disappointing this year, and the better results he has had on Augusta was when he entered the tournament in much better form than he is showing now.
Also gonna have a little on van pelt to go all the way at +9400. |

I really like that line of thinking also.. I'm going to be splashing around with some Rose wagers myself.
