you questioned my assertion that Tomic is a rising up and comer, yet you have Monfils pic in your avatar?

you are either a fan of his game or you think he''s handsome.  anyone, i love watching Monfils but he is underachieving with relation to his talent level.

peace.

Really? You've stooped to avatar smack now? What are you, like twelve?

I'm not a huge Monfils supporter but any tennis player would take his career achievements in a split second considering he played during arguably the toughest era in men's tennis while fed and rafa completely dominated the past decade. And when the dust settles he may go down as one if not the best French box tennis player of the modern era, which is still saying a lot for a gutless clown like Monfils

Keep smoking them fifty cent cigars at your .10/.20cent poker game kiddo

so, what would your opinion on dominance be if djokovic wins the french this year?

If Djoko wins the French giving him the "career slam" that Fed and Rafa have, it will go a long way in terms of helping my opinion of him as a "next level" type of player.

Right now, he's still a guy who got hot for just over a year and ran everyone off the court EXCEPT at the french.

He still sits with just 5 major wins as opposed Rafa and Fed's double digits.

Note that Djoko already has 4 losses this year.

yea, yea, yea, i know his grandpa died and he had to play on the smurf clay, but 4 losses is 4 losses, and it's only May.  last yr he lost 2 matches the whole damn year.

stay tuned, Frenchie is starting in 14 days

Djoko suffers 5th loss of 2012 and it's not even the French Open yet

2011 he had only 4 losses.

the fluke known as 2011 is no more

back to earth for Djoko

just watch

i've watched and played tennis since before you were born (85 wimbledon when boris becker dominated the field was when i started watching and playing tennis, and went to become a 3 yr varsity player in HS)

so please explain how 5 losses in 4.67 mos as opposed to 4 losses in 12 mos, does not show that a guy who was on a major run has not dropped back to earth.

my UNDER 10.5 slams for Djoko is a brilliant pick

Djokers loss to Murray in dubai,,,Murray played a flawless match and would've beat rafa and fed in straights too that day
Djokers loss to isner,,,Isner caught ligHtning in a bottle in a rare nationally televised abc/espn American even and the crowd was simply electric supporting isner and he played one of his best matches of his career
Djokers loss to rafa in monte Carlo,,,emotional letdown from the loss of his grandfather
Djokers loss today,,,rafa playing out of his mind right now, especially this week, and seems to be going into 2012 French open as a wolverine with rabies.

Last year djoker had a run that's likely never to be equalled in tennis ever again,,,that's not a fluke,,,he took his game to a new level and the rest of the filed was left behind in his dust. They needed some time to adjust to djokers new level of play and now the top coaches in the world have more ideas of how to beat djoker, but easier said than done.

You have tunnel vision and are the type of person who just wants to see what ou want to see. Thanks for the laugh buddy, It was a good one! while you were watching boom boom on tv in the 80's, I was on the court training in Florida every summer for my entire junior tennis career with nick bollettieri at his junior academy, and then kicking behind in the Canadian juniors provincials and nationals from the age of 10-18,,, from where I ended up in Spain on the red clay playing challengers and futures for about two years with some of the future greats of the game from that part of the world. Carlos moya and I began hustling poker way back in the day in the seediest bars you could imagine back in ''90-91" and developed a friendship that still exists today. I had a pathetic world ranking in the 1100's at my peak, (and had there been ingame wagering back in that time id have made Sir Professional1 and mad skillz and theone and Troy along with a few others who bet live, a lot of money on the over) but hey, you were watching tennis on tv in your parents basement while practicing for your high school team, so you got me there,,,you win in the game of life

so basically, every time djoko loses, there is an excuse?

what about when he wins, maybe everything intangible went into his favor as well?

who's the one with tunnel vision now?

you LOVE djoko which is clouding your vision

i don't HATE djoko, i just hate the hype

i am calling it as it is

he is a GREAT GREAT GREAT player

but not the dominant type of next level player that Fed was and Rafa IS

period.

a top 30 school in BIO, but i'm not stupid enough to put specific details of my life on the world wide web.

i've got deals to close today, so excuse me.

rafa already closed his deal today.

djoko will go yet another year without a french title, probably not even a french runner up as he's never made it past the semis.

good day.

He will likely go 60-65 wins, 7-9 losses this year.

What a loser djoker will be with such a horrible year end record

He was 70-6 last year,,,you claim he only had 4 losses,,,stick to your "medical devices",,, looks like you could use a butt plug to replace that foot you got in your mouth,,, before you post a ridiculous comment claiming that djokers success was a fluke and now he's coming back to earth you should check the most basic facts such as number of losses. 4 does not equal six ,,, junior technical college math students know this, and they don't make  "NORTH OF 150K"

I disagree, I do think you're stupid enough. If you were actually telling the truth to begin with
You make it quite easy actually, by claiming to be a top 30 school, this implies you're referring to a school ranked between 26-30,,,basic deduction skills would support that by you so proudly claiming "top 30"
But,,,,if you had "real life DEALS to close" today, it's highly unlikely you'd be on an anonymous website having this futile debate with me right now taking it on the chin like you always do,,you'd be busy preparing for your Important deal because you make north of 150k and are not stupid.

Heres to hoping your tomic future takes a positive step today, Maybe he beats Lacko today

did you see the Aussie Open final 2012 when Rafa blew chances to take control of the match in the 5 set epic match?  an objective observer would see that he played just as well, if not slightly better, but djoko played consistently in the big pts and rafa messed up

i made no excuses, the better player that day won
