Yet another new survey shows that Republican supporters know more about politics and political history than Democrats.

On eight of 13 questions about politics, Republicans outscored Democrats by an average of 18 percentage points, according to a new Pew survey “Partisan Differences in Knowledge.”

The Pew survey adds to a wave of surveys and studies showing that GOP-sympathizers are better informed, more intellectually consistent, more open-minded, more empathetic and more receptive to criticism than their fellow Americans who support the Democratic Party. [ I can agree with this statement ]............

“Republicans fare substantially better than Democrats on several questions in the survey, as is typically the case in surveys about political knowledge,” said the study, which noted that Democrats outscored Republicans on five questions by an average of 4.6 percent.

The survey quizzed 1,000 people, including 239 Republicans and 334 Democrats....The DailyCaller ...

Those kind of married women vote republican

It is the single women that vote democrat

Women are weird that way...  It is assumed that when obama ran for president that all african americans would vote for him because it was thought that it was in their best interest...

But if a woman ran for president there is a large group of women (many of them like you are talking about) that would vote against the woman candidate... even if the woman candidate were to campaign on being pro-women's issues and would appear in their best interest

It certainly appears undeniable that the plan of the liberals is to promise amenities and rewards to the populace in exchange for votes.

One question comes to mind.

How much of what someone else earns is my “fair share”?

Says the party who says they believe in Adam and eve not Adam and Steve, darn f*gs and their going to hell, god bless America and darn ni**gers, and all minorities, I vote god first, believes the earth is 3,000 years old, hates multiculturalism, and wants to indoctrinate people at gun point.

Are against body rights, marriage rights for all regardless of sex, hates social progression, hates social equality, hates science, and hates physics. Pro death of US soldiers for colonialism, money, oil, lithium, minerals, industrialism, and drugs.

Neo-nazi’s, Neo-confederates, and confederates who believe the south will rise again and the group all seem to vote republican and after all of this preach a belief in a disgusting god and wants a theocratic dictatorship.

And if you thought that was stupid enough, you’re wrong, I’ll end it with something funny. Republicans also say don’t steal from my Medicare to support socialized medicine, keep your government hands off my Medicare, keep government out of my Medicare?

Yeah, that one smart party you align yourself with.

I’d rather align myself with communists than republicans. The only thing republicans say that I agree with is free markets.

Glenndef62, Liberals do promise exactly what you say to get votes. There is NO denying that but the other side uses hatred, bigotry, and the belief in a cultist theocratic dictatorship to get votes. If you can understand, the democratic side like I can. Why can you acknowledge the republican side as well? I clearly call out both sides of the political spectrum. Why can’t you?

It's hard to attack me because I will call out the democratic party and call it like I see it with them also.

Democrats will be whites and minorities who want free stuff. They are lazy and don’t want to work, and vote for entitlement programs to save the poor. They think the government should act like a parent, save them from failure, and regulate everything.

They believe in more laws and they think making more laws makes us safer no matter how many laws are created that harm society and want social equality but don't do much to fix it either. They want equal rights for all and believe multiculturalism is a good thing.

Most democrats believe it’s a person’s choice on what they can do to there own bodies and it’s none of the governments business. They want to tax the rich to death and create as many rules and regulations possible. They blame the rich and everyone else for their problems.

They want the government to fix and control every thing they can possible. They have communist socialist beliefs. A few radical organizations that are associated with the Democratic Party are the black panthers and the nation of Islam. I think that pretty much describes the Democratic Party.

I just called out eh republican party in post 5 and called out the democratic party on this post. I can see both sides of the political spectrum.

It is funny how if you call out GOP or even dont blindly agree with the partisan sycophants that you must be a die hard liberal...

yet when you show that you are on both sides (devil/deepbluesea) that doesnt fall into their paradigm of either blindly following or you must be from the extreme opposite...

It is funny that in their mind it is all about "left vs right"

but the actual dichotomy on this site is "propaganda/rhetoric" vs "reality/critical thinking"....

I really dont disagree with a thing you say about the democratic paradigm... other then I would add that then are a collection of loosely connected or even completely disconnected ideals (peta, environment, social programs, abortion, feminism, racial equality) etc...  It pains me that some how if you are pro-right/freedom to choose that you must also be pro-affirmative action... but in some ways liberals are simply trying to stop the agenda of the right...

Which is different then conservatives who's prescribed views often are more fused under theocracy... while I may not agree with all of the conservative views, I respect that you know exactly where they are coming from...

That is why Paul has my vote...  not about partisanship, but more about philosophy... when you name your son rand it says something about your commitment to a worldview...

so when you see a "conservative" that does not have strong principles then you know and is flipping and flopping in with the wind or even worse like we have seen with neocons and their blank checks and reckless spending (liberal behavior) doign the opposite of conservative values and being able to bamboozle their voting base you know we are all screwed

Yes he is a republican. He represents the old school republicans of the 60s. He is last one remaining from that era. When republicans were smart and were well educated. I disagree with about 30 percent of what he stands for but you have to let somethings slide if you truly want change.

So you agree with my post or disagree dl36? I am curious to see what your opinion is. I think you dl, disco, and acerrubrum are the most frequent posters on here that are open minded.

He'd like you to think he is an independant thinker. Nothing further from the truth. He loves Obama, thinks he is doing a great job and he only challenges conservatives on this site.

If he doesn't have any valid counter arguments he will jump to calling out aliases and label everything as talking points or rhetoric.

Thats him in a nutshell.

You could be right bowlslit. Ive only seen a few posts of his.

Looks like dl36 ducked my question.

I would like to add there are fake democrats and there are racist bigoted ones also. I left that out. It's just more furtive with them and harder to spot.
