Poker as an Olympic sport?  LMFAO!  You could race Michael Phelps or Usain Bolt 1 million times, and you would NEVER beat them.

But if you have a fundamental understanding of poker odds and position, ANYONE can win a poker tournament. 

Poker is a competion, not a sport.  And if you still want to label it as such, then Crazy 8s, Old Maid, and Go Fish are also sports.

I'm not disagreeing Wizard, but running isnt a sport either, its also a competition.

Disagree Train. Running is a sport and requires physical talent. I realize that by my own personal definition golf qualifies as a sport, yet I personally wouldn't consider it a sport. But running, imo, is a sport. 

However, I have said that not all Olympic competitions are sports.

Just because something requires physical activity doesnt mean its a sport and vice versa.

I compare Nascar to driving a car or playing a video game in a sauna for a couple of hours.
