Beating a smaller guy, coming off a loss, that shouldn't even have been given a title shot to begin with. If he wins a boring decision, or gets screwed on a decision, then what? Anybody who doesn't know that matchups mean everything in MMA fights, isn't real bright.
Why can't Dana White make better cards?
As far as fighters being pissed. They should be pissed at White for considering them unworthy. Jones didn't cancel the PPV, White did. God forbid White should ever fall on the sword and lose money on a PPV. That guy has raked for years. His desire to make money is what this is about. Most fighters will be broke 10 years removed from MMA. White won't.
Why isn't the same hate being shown to Machida? He refused to fight a guy he already has fought. He also would have nearly a month to prepare. White didn't have garbage to say about Machida. And why is that? Because he had time for a back up plan.
The truth of the matter is that Henderson didn't hurt his knee this week. Many knew for a while that he was hurt. At 42, Henderson was trying to man up for what could be his last title shot. No shame there. White knew that garbage. White is full of himself and thinks he can bully/shame fighters into doing what he wants.
Randy Couture is a consensus fan favorite. Remember White trying to cock block him from leaving the UFC. White is a selfish prick. If you guys want to insult people, start with White. |
