I can't believe how silly this debate has become. It's very simple why this fight hasn't happened yet.

You can fight 5 "name fighters" that have little chance to win at 30-40 million a pop. That's 200 million. Why risk your current earning power on a fight that will pay 50-60 million?

Do you think the loser of the fight will still be able to demand 30-40 million dollars a fight after the loss? Absolutely not. Of course they'll still draw and earn, but at a significantly lower level after that.

It's is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, but not nearly in the way people perceive it as a squabble of the purse of that particular fight. In fact, that's the least relevant detail when you compare it to their post-fight earnings.

Lastly, Mayweather loathes Bob Arum. They'll need to be a neutral third party to mediate negotiations or it will never get done. Until they both concede that the fight won't happen.

Mayweather is scared to fight Pacquiao because he knows pacman is a for real threat to his undefeated record. if they did fight, the money should be 50/50.

Mayweather is now projected to make between 60-70 million based on higher than expected buy rate approaching 2 million. For very limited risk..

For money weather in his particular situation quantity > quality for the best overall net wealth

pac man offers entirely to much risk to money teams empire.

if money team does take the fight it would be entirely lopsided in compensation for mayweather and pac man would never agree hence quantity > quality

Mayweather is not only a fighter but a business man.

Why don't you pull Mayweather's sack out your mouth?

I can think of a lot things mayweather is and businessman is not top of the list.

The guy is a selfish and greedy prick that cares nothing about integrity, honor, or saving the sport of boxing.

He deserves no kind words or justification for being a spineless box that has no honor. At the end of the day, this man is afraid of his potential opponent, money has nothing to do with it. It is an excuse.

People who are saying Manny wont take a drug test are completely misinformed. The truth about the test have already been said on the first page.

Facts are Mayweather wants to retire undefeated and Manny could potentially cause Floyd problems. Floyd has never fought any boxer in their prime and carefully picks and chooses when he fights certain boxers.

Floyd is by far the biggest draw in America and probably North America but Manny has the much larger fanfare worldwide. He has all of Asia backing him and a lot of Europeans back Manny over Floyd also. How many billion people does China have?

And lastly.... Floyd can make more guaranteed money for his career by not fighting Pacman and having the chance of losing.  His undefeated record allows him to command the money he receives.

Many Floyd backers underestimate Manny and a lot of Pacman's backers overlook the greatness of Mayweather.

According to Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, his Superstar fighter and Pound For Pound King Manny Pacquiao has agreed to full random Blood testing for a potential fight with long time rival, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mr. Arum has been reported as saying - ‘We have agreed in the Pacquiao camp to unlimited random testing done by a responsible, neutral organization. We don’t believe USADA is a neutral organization.

‘I don’t think anybody’s test is as vigorous as the test administered by the Olympic Organization. And we can arrange for the Olympic Organization to handle the test under the supervision of the Athletic commission respective of the state where the fight is going to be held.

Smart man!

Pacman said that he thinks the best chance of the fight happening is if Mayweather thinks he looks old and vulnerable.

I’ve seen all of the interviews of Floyd talking about Pacman on stage, radio, and TV where Floyd talks about Pacman and sweats a ton, he starts to swallow heavily, shake uncontrollably, stutter profusely, and exhibit bursts of nervous twitches.

Mayweather talks about PACMAN! He shits bricks and goes all butt-hurt

Mayweather would kill Pacman. Has nothing to do with him being scared.
