Agreeing to an early expiration of his contract.

In this day and age in baseball...you just have to give Jason Bay a world of respect for doing this. He wasn't doing a damn thing for this team and was always hurt. I wonder if Boston is willing to take him back.

I want to make a list of Mets free agent busts over the years, Bay and Jeremy Burnitz come to mind, I know there are more.

Giving Luis Castillo and Oliver Perez the contracts that they did was horrible. Kaz Matsui a bunch of years before then as well.

I heard that Soriano, Swisher and even Kuroda are going FA.
