SF. Tie breaker will look at division records then look at conference record. |

#6 Posted: 12/28/2011 3:16:11 PM NO will play for bye since SF game is at same time, yet you have to wonder how much confidence they have in SF losing to Rams. With a game most likely the following week, I think they might play it a little conservative, protect Brees, and Panthers get backdoor cover. |

#12 Posted: 12/31/2011 9:27:34 PM Panthers ML. Cam Newton finishes his freshman year on a high. Saints sit starters by mid 3 quarter if not sooner. GLTA

#13 Posted: 1/1/2012 9:18:20 AM Over. New Orleans offense will be playing all day, at least passing the ball. They will say that they have to win in case San Fran loses to keep a chance at # 2 seed alive, that's their excuse anyway for letting Brees throw all day to keep the single season passing record to himself as Brady will be playing a soft Bills defense and could "backdoor cover" him for that record. As we all seen on monday, this record means a lot to Brees, and the Saints will go out of their way to help him get it (even if it is running up the score). Let's not forget also that the Bills embarrassed the Patriots with a 21 point comeback and are set for a payback. The Pats need to win to keep a game up on the steelers for the #1 overall seed which will give them reason to play starters for majority of the game and allows Brady to throw it around all game. They want revenge and belichick is the type of coach to run up the score on the Bills. You know Brady wants the record too if possible. Brees knows Brady is capable of a 500 yard game and leapfrogging him, so to be safe i think Brees goes for 350+. Along with the fact that Cam newton can put up points, and should be able to against a not so motivated defense (they know the niners arent really gonna lose to the rams.) Just how i see it. Im taking the over. |
