Holtby makes $600K next season and is an RFA in 2014. Vokoun gets $1.5 million and is a UFA end of next season while Neuvirth gets $1.15 million and is also an RFA in 2014.
how's THAT feel Philadelphia and Pittsburgh?
Bryzgalov 9 YEARS with $10 million this year and a $6 million average AND Fleury 7 YEARS averaging $5.5 million (but at least Flower won a Cup once)

just better hope Holtby doesn't turn into a re-run of James Carey, "Net Detective" in Washington
Carey and Blaine Lacher in Boston were BOTH "wierd deals". both were damn near unbeatable early on in their careers then fell completely apart

Flower has NEVER played his angles correctly and relies TOO much on his natural athletic talent. he also needs to learn to control rebounds. how many "shot, save, rebound" GOALS have we seen over the years and esp this season? some of that is the D not clearing BUT the top goalies just don't give up too many rebound chances. they "swallow the puck".
sounds crazy BUT Flower was at his best when he had (of all people) Ty Conklin pushing him AND Ty was also like a "second coach". I think without any internal competetion, he's gotten lazy
