"He swung his fist towards the driver window, and at some point the driver shot him," says Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson. "Just because we don't book a person immediately does not mean we don't charge a person at a later date."

Well Daniel Adkins isn’t a black kid. Therefore, conservative republicans aren’t going to cheer for his death and the shooter was black, again, conservative republicans aren’t going to defend the shooter. So, this story has no relation to the trevon martin killing.

Hmmmm.

Does the driver have a broken nose? Contusions?

Witnesses do not corroborate the shooter's story.

Hmmmmm.

I'm going to go ahead and say these two cases are completely different, but am not shocked that
A) the American thinker would take a jab at Obama,
 B) Anti-gun people would claim that there is a double standard or C) that both sides would use this situation to further their agendas.

I think everyone is starting to figure out the pattern of these types of posters....

Extremely desperate attempts at making inferences/connections/ attributions...  just hoping that others "exactly like them" will join in the loaded fabrication...

Anything to be the frontrowcenter of attention no matter how desperately he is grasping at straws...  but once the bowl is lit they pass it around so they are all smoking the same crap...  I mean they could say john glenn def inately is the first man on the moon and another one of them will refuse to refute the lie and/or claim it as fact...

I mean the pattern/history of these multiple accounts to agree with one self is is just hilarious.. . its like they got one account for home... one for work and one for the road

American thinker seems to be an oxymoron in this situation

i don't want to get into a racial discussion and i'm not defending zimmerman at all but this kind of garbage happens every day all.  it's crazy how pathetic the media is by making some of these cases headline news and basically ignoring others.

Crazy isn't it?

Just read a story of some Texas prosecutor who withheld crucial evidence in a murder trial of some dudes wife. He was freed after 25 years.

Media should be all over that.

From the little information provided I would think he should be arrested.  But why did he have a gun in the first place?  Once again, the peril and danger of guns.  Makes it so easy to claim self-defense.  You exchange words, get into an altercation and you have carte blanche to pull out your "legal" instrument of death.

Once again, this case is about guns, not race.  Another death that wouldn't have happened if this person had not been packing.

I'm not saying it was Adkins's fault he got shot, but since when do you bang your fist on a person's hook or shake your fist at them?  A total stranger.....you have no idea what that person might be capable of.

I once parked next to a guy on a motorcycle last year....got close to his bike, but never touched it.  He got in my face and screamed at me....just for getting someone close to his bike.  His girlfriend was walked away she was so embarassed...people on the street couldn't believe it.  He was foaming at the mouth.

You know what I did?  I kept my mouth shut and apologized.  And I was carrying at the time.

RESPONSIBLE gun carrying means you AVOID confrontation at all cost.  And even if I'm not carrying, I treat every situation the same way (ie. I assume the other person is).

And yes, every person who shoots someone can claim self defense.  But that doesn't mean it was self defense.  That's for the facts of the case and the jury to decide.

By the way, who is to say this guy wouldn't have gotten out of the car and stabbed this guy if he had a knife instead of a gun?

Well if the facts are as reported here, it is hard to see why the shooter won't be arrested. It really wouldn't seem reasonable to think you would fear for serious injury or death in this situation.

Once again, the peril and danger of guns.
___________

Actually, it's the peril and danger of IDIOTS who carry guns and the people who are stupid enough to provoke them.  You know why he is dead?  Because his ego wouldn't allow him to just walk away.

I was coming home from Grand Marais, MN last year and stopped for gas in Hinckley, MN.  I was in grabbing a water and heard some commotion outside.  There were 2 cars next to each other and 2 guys yelling at each other.   No accident, but apparently one guy cut the other one off.  One of them goes into the trunk and pulls a gun.

Once again, this NEVER happens if the one guy doesn't inject himself into a dangerous situation.  No accident.  No reason to piss someone off.

The perils of guns?  More like the perils of stupidity.

Forster got out to confront the rock-thrower, and that’s when the beating began.
____________

I would have gunned it through a red light if necessary pulled over a couple blocks away, and call the cops.

"Confront."  Notice how that word is usually in play when people are getting severely hurt or killed?
