In Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Colorado, and Nevada — tossup states where direct election-year comparisons could be drawn — the numbers are striking. Democratic rolls increased by only 39,580, less than one-tenth the amount at the comparable point in the 2008 election.
At the same time, GOP registration has jumped by 145,085, or more than double for the same time four years ago. Independent registration has shown an even stronger surge, to 229,500, almost three times the number at this point in 2008.
Interesting about the Independents. It sure seems they are motivated to vote in this election.
Also note this nugget:
This week, Third Way, a centrist Democratic think tank, released a study of eight battleground states that illustrated the rise in independent voters since the 2008 election. The report, titled “ The I’s Have it,” found that based on recent data, Democratic registration has declined by more than 800,000, or 5.2 percent; Republican enrollments were down about 80,000, or 0.7 percent; and independents were up 486,677, or 6.4 percent, in those states.
Remember that the next time you see a Presidential poll with 38% D and 30% R in the samples in the cross-tabs.

1. less obama enthusiasm. 2. gops actually coming out to vote because they think they have a chance as opposed to 2012 3. people that were once dems/reps are now registering indy which would explain the surge in indy voters...

In all reality, who in their right mind, in America, would be enthusiastic whatsoever, to want to go out , register, vote and reelect the only socialist marxist POTUS of this great Republic

Beyond these groups that will put Obama over the top...women, elderly, latinos...I predict Obama will decisively whip mittens in the debates.
His platitudes & little pat answers along with that patronizing, condescending look on his face worked well enough with his repub opponents, but won't with Obama. He'll get sliced & diced particularly in foreign affairs, taxes & the medicare fabrications they've been putting out.
Now the Obama team is only asking for only 5 total yrs in tax returns from Mitt, but he still won't do it. Why not? Is it just from the conflict & discrediting that showing that he's used every possible loophole & avoidance possible which he gives lip service to wanting to cut out or has it been worse - criminal evasion rather than legal avoidance?

Those are some super powerful Mitt Romney tax returns.......causing obama to fuck up for a full four years. Damn!! When will obama turn over the records that have been requested from him for four years?? Did the IRS ever pursue Mitt??
NO???
Enough of you Johnny One-Notes
When is obama going to show his school records?? I think they show him to have been a foreign student at Occidental.

Can't seem to copy the quotes but no dl, I fully expect a good dem/liberal turnout & Obama to be re-elected. Not as many as last time, but enough. We'll see -

Cashin, romney is a huge bag of corporate shit. The guy goes around saying how much he loves the country, but he uses offshore accounts to get out of paying his fair share to the country he says he loves. There are no bigger hypocrites then guys like him
p.s. i knew the birth certificate boys would crawl out from their rocks. They just wont quit with that BS

I actually think that alot of dem/liberal turnout lies in the strategy of the GOP/teaparty...
If they bitch and moan, attack, fabricate negative spin, and put down obama and make it look like a close race then dem/liberals will be come running to rescue him like they always do when the "victim" scenario pops up...
but if the GOP/teaparty said that obama is mediocre, but romney/ryan has something better to offer and focus on championing their guy rather then making obama the victim of unfair criticism then the dem/liberals will stay home...
so to me I think the GOP/teaparty knows they dont have a chance in 2012 and have been playing their strategy that way since 2008...
