#1 Posted: 6/3/2011 7:38:34 PM Why are the US sportsbooks so limited in terms of lines and sports compared to european ones? It's crazy what huge difference there is...Even on US sports, there are books that have 15-20 different betting options where the largest US books have 6-7 different options to bet. |

#2 Posted: 6/3/2011 9:52:40 PM completely agree, even the formats of the US sportsbook look "primitive", so many other betting options/live bet features.have a look at paddypower.com |

#3 Posted: 6/4/2011 10:46:22 AM yeah, or bwin. they have like 25 sports, with probably 10000 events anytime...on comparison the largest in terms of bet variety is probably betus or bodog and they have like 7-8-10 sports, and eventually they might have 5-10 leagues from those sports (only the major ones) and they will mostly have line bets, no variety at all. I believe it happens because they are scared from putting too much sports and leagues they know nothing about... all they know are US sports, no knowledge on anything else. If there was a US book, with good brand name and appealing design (most look like trash) and as many lines as the European ones...I would definitely go for it and become their most loyal player... |
