#1 Posted: 2/13/2012 5:14:08 PM So the Knicks have now won 8 games in a row ATS. This got me thinking and I did some back-testing, all the way to the 2006-2007 season. I still have the southwest left to do, but this is what I have come up with. Fade a team that has won at least 7 times in a row ats AFTER a teams first lost ats. For Eastern Conference teams the record is 26-0 since 06-07
I will post results and am finishing the West now

#3 Posted: 2/13/2012 6:32:10 PM no. Wait for the knicks to lose 1 game. THEN you fade them again to win 1 unit

#4 Posted: 2/13/2012 6:57:33 PM This strategy/system prob won't work if you start after a loss by a team that has won 6 games in a row ats. I started with the atl division and there were already 2 losses. In a 3 game chase with -110 odds 1 loss equals -8.26 units Also I don't think it works in reverse, a team will not always win again if they win ats after a minimum of 7 losses ats.
NJ, Ind, Char, Wash, OKC did not qualify...... 50 plays over 5 yrs come out to about 10 plays a season.
2 game chase results in a minus $
26-0 East 19-4-1 West if buying pts 23-1 for a total record of 49-1 Exclude Northwest Division and this system would be 41-1. Buy 2 pts OR got line early for 1st game of the losing series and record would be 42-0!!
BEFORE we start to fade we are waiting for NYK & San Antonio. Sac also qualifies as they have won 7 ats in a row, then lost 1. Start chasing Sac to lose now.

#5 Posted: 2/13/2012 7:20:20 PM Road/Home does not really play a factor for the loses I used Covers closing lines. Also 2 side notes for the loses. I noticed Port in 07-08 won 13 games in a row while covering ATS. will see if that can be a filter Den in 10-11 won 7 in a row ats. Then lost once ats. Then WON 7 in a row ats AGAIN. This was the only time buying pts would have also lost for he system! System restarts: They lost 1 after winning 7 in a row ats Chase result was lost A game, Push B game, lost C game.

#6 Posted: 2/13/2012 8:09:27 PM if a team wins every game while covering ats you take away 1 loss and 9 wins, so there is no point there
Back to back (minimum of 4 games in between) you take away 1 loss and 1 win.
beginning, end of season does not seem to matter. During a win streak, if a team Pushes then it does not count for anything. During a chase, if a team pushes we still stop at the C game!

#11 Posted: 2/15/2012 9:24:05 PM Tonight it looks like Sac will fall to the NYK. end of 3rd Knick covering +16 NYK are also a play, but did not start the chase on them as they are vs. Sac. Wait for their next game, but be careful as they are not will be getting melo back soon and of course lin. SA was also a play tonight. I bought 2 pts from the +7 to make it +9 for me. SA....anyone who wants to continue with fading SA be wary.
Working on another streaky system. be back with more guys.
