5/1. 1.25 units. expecting a substantial amount of improvement here going long out of a rough start first out showed a lot of late zip. shitty post but might not be an issue drop in and sit mid pack.

thanks bro
was thinking long and hard about her and the tote action was supporting my stance. off that layoff and if the word was out it was just going to be a workout she woulda been 20/1. this gal ran well on the lawn before but that was way back as a 2YO. she's a frsh face 4YO now and a totally different animal. she just missed in a G1 at Keeneland as a 3YO with 89 fig on synthetic and that was as a very young 3YO. they tried the KY Oaks and she ran up the track. i figured a very confident move back off the shelf right into a graded stakes.

3/1. pace, speed. shortening up no excuse should have a very decent shot to get this. no suspicious drop this is where this piece of crap belongs.

8/1 on the tote. late speed, stamina, pattern. like his moves here on the dirt last was perhaps just a way to get him off the layoff. solid rise in class comparing the recent dirt races. in over his head last out on the lawn. 0.75 units.

a little under 5/2
he had such an edge on pace and the cutback to a flat mile I figured he would be clear turning for home. no suspicious drop so i figured he would fire for me.
he barely, barely held on that's why that bum is now 2/20 lifetime with 7 seconds.

don't know why they ignored him on the board I guess everyone is too lazy to lok beyond the last race. this stiff ran figs on this track that stacked up very well and they bumped him up in class (compared to those) and he was second off the shelf and those nice races (relative to these) where 6.5F where he showed good late zip so plenty of gas in the tank for 6F today. he killed them here very easy win for him.

santa anita race 6 - passing.
the players have zoomed in on the 2 I suppose that are most likely to show the best late speed here at 9F. i don't trust either of them enough to accept those odds. all of them frankly are pretty damn inconsistent and if they fire their best they are about equal to each other (aside from the obvious throw outs).
the 2 is an 11YO. can he dig down deep and find a big run here???

8/1 ml. 0.75 units. speed, pace, jock. please don't play this if you are searching for more certainty. this is swinging for the fences here looks like an attempt to see if he can get back to going around two turns and maybe (and I mean maybe) train up to the Santa Anita Handicap.
as a 3YO this guy ran ok around two turns and this is 8.5F today but a G2 nonetheless. i am tossing the last one I think they brought him back too quick with his recency off that huge fig he ran trying to snatch that G3 over in Inglewood. he's gotten a break since and is working like a beast in the morning. i hope Raffy can get him to relax and not open up an eight length lead on the backside and save something for the stretch. raffy had him two back he was a monster running a 109 fig over 7F on the cushion track.
i have questions about all of the others so I am going with value on the tote and the opportunity for improvement in overall form.
far, far, far from a sure thing here boys. tote action would raise my level of confidence in this scenario.

10/1 ml. pattern, late speed, pace. taking a shot here as well. pretty substantial jump in class and a lesser known skipper could protect this price. when he brings it he can step with these. 2nd off the bench here stretching out on the lawn off a win last out sprinting at Inglewood that looked like a workout. two drills since and right up the ladder to face a solid allowance field here. if he brings it he should be fairly close to the zip and showing good energy late. again, taking a shot here. he's capable IF he brings it today. i like the pattern coming into this. 0.75 units.
