Oilers 6, Jets 2: Taylor Hall scored a goal and set up two others as host Edmonton halted its six-game losing streak.
Jordan Eberle, David Perron and Nail Yakupov each recorded a goal and an assist while Sam Gagner and defenseman Jeff Petry also scored for the Oilers, who were held to just six goals during their skid. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins notched a pair of assists and Ilya Bryzgalov turned aside 18 shots.
Blue-liner Mark Stuart and captain Andrew Ladd tallied for Winnipeg, which has lost three straight road games. Ondrej Pavelec made 24 saves while rookie Mark Scheifele had his six-game point streak halted.
Eberle opened the scoring during a man advantage at 8:40 of the first period, but Stuart forged a tie less than three minutes later with a shot from the left faceoff circle. Gagner tallied later in the session and Ladd converted a power-play chance at 9:08 of the second to knot it at 2-2 before the Oilers reeled off four consecutive goals to seize control.
Perron began the uprising with 3:20 remaining in the middle period and Petry made it 4-2 less than 4 1/2 minutes into the third, scoring from the right side of the crease. Nugent-Hopkins set up Hall at the bottom of the right circle during a man advantage just over four minutes later and Yakupov beat Pavelec from the inner edge of the left circle with 3:44 left to cap the scoring.
