Blackhawks 6, Stars 2: Patrick Sharp and Brandon Saad each scored a pair of goals as visiting Chicago rolled to victory.
Patrick Kane netted a goal and set up two others while defenseman Michael Kostka notched a tally and an assist for the Blackhawks, who won all three visits to Dallas this season. Blue-liners Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook recorded two assists apiece and Antti Raanta made 27 saves as Chicago scored six goals for the second straight game.
Antoine Roussel scored both goals for the Stars, who had their six-game point streak snapped. Kari Lehtonen allowed four tallies on 19 shots before being replaced by Dan Ellis, who finished with 12 saves.
Kostka opened the scoring at 2:03 of the first period with a one-timer from above the right faceoff circle and Kane doubled the lead 10:02 later with a backhander during a breakaway. Saad made it 3-0 just 2:46 into the middle session and Sharp chased Lehtonen with a blast from just above the slot during a power play at 8:20.
Sharp completed his second two-goal performance of the season less than three minutes later, converting a breakaway chance after receiving a long slap pass from Keith. Roussel finally got Dallas on the board at 13:36 before Saad capped his second career two-goal effort with 45 seconds remaining in the session.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Raanta remained unbeaten in regulation during his brief NHL career, improving to 4-0-1. ... Kane has collected two goals and 10 assists during his six-game point streak. ... The Stars went 0-for-5 on the power play and are a league-worst 1-for-47 with the man advantage at home.
