Recap

Devils 4, Ducks 3 (OT): Jaromir Jagr scored the tying goal with 61 seconds left in regulation and Travis Zajac was credited with the game-winner 1:58 into overtime as New Jersey handed Anaheim its first home loss.

The game ended in stunning fashion when Ducks defenseman Ben Lovejoy's attempted clearing pass from the crease deflected off teammate Corey Perry and into his own net to end Anaheim's perfect home record (8-0-1). Marek Zidlicky and fellow defenseman Eric Gelinas scored first-period power-play goals and goaltender Martin Brodeur turned aside 22 shots to win his fifth consecutive start.

Nick Bonino had a goal and an assist and captain Ryan Getzlaf and Matt Beleskey also scored for the Ducks, who saw their winless streak reach five games (0-3-2). Jonas Hiller made 21 saves for Anaheim, which has lost four straight meetings to New Jersey.

Anaheim erased a 2-1 deficit with a pair of second-period power-play tallies, the first coming on a 5-on-3 when defenseman Cam Fowler's shot from the right point hit Dustin Penner in front and caromed to an unguarded Bonino at the right of the net for an easy conversion. The Ducks went in front 13 minutes later when Penner slid a pass out to the high slot and Getzler bombed a slap shot into the right top corner that a screened Brodeur never saw.

The Devils pressed for the equalizer in the final period, registering the first 11 shots, and finally broke through with Brodeur on the bench for an extra skater. Patrik Elias, who assisted on the first three goals, sent a pass from behind the net to Jagr, who chipped it past Hiller for his team-leading eighth goal.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Playing in his fourth game of the season and second since returning from a fractured thumb, Beleskey notched his first goal when he ripped a slap shot by Brodeur off a slick pass from D Hampus Lindholm at 5:23 of the opening period. ... Jagr's goal was the 689th of his storied career, putting him one behind Mario Lemieux for ninth place on the all-time list.. ... Bonino's goal was his career-best sixth, surpassing his previous high set in each of the past two seasons. ... Ducks D Francois Beauchemin suffered upper-body injury in the second period and is listed as day-to-day.
