Dolphins 22, Bengals 20 (OT): Cameron Wake burst through and sacked Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton for a safety with 6:38 left in overtime as host Miami snapped a four-game losing streak.

Wake's sack, coming on third-and-10 from the 8-yard line on the fourth possession of the extra session, brought a stunning end to the four-game winning streak of the Bengals (6-3). It was only the third time in league history that a game ended on a safety.

Ryan Tannehill threw for 208 yards and scored on a quarterback sneak and Brent Grimes returned an interception 94 yards for a touchdown for the Dolphins (4-4), who squandered a 14-point second-half lead before rallying for the victory. Dalton threw for 338 yards but was picked off three times and lost a fumble for Cincinnati, which got a pair of touchdown runs from electrifying rookie Giovani Bernard.

Trailing 10-3 at halftime, Cincinnati was driving for the tying score early in the second half before Grimes picked off Dalton in the right flat and raced to the end zone to extend the lead to 14 points. The Bengals stormed back on two touchdown runs by Bernard, the second a dazzling 35-yard jaunt in which he eluded a tackle, reversed his field toward the left sideline before cutting and somersaulting into the end zone with 12:37 to play.

Mike Nugent booted a 54-yard field goal for a 20-17 lead with 1:24 to play, but Tannehill got the Dolphins in position for a tying 44-yard kick by rookie Caleb Sturgis with 11 ticks left to force overtime. Lamar Miller rushed for 105 yards on 16 carries for Miami while Bengals wideout A.J. Green hauled in 11 passes for 128 yards.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Grimes' interception return for the TD was the first of his career and the longest by a Miami player since Brock Marion brought one back 100 yards versus Buffalo in 2001. ... Bengals All-Pro DT Geno Atkins suffered a torn ACL in his right knee late in the second quarter and Bernard (ribs) exited in the fourth, while the Dolphins lost CB Nolan Carroll (concussion) and LG Richie Incognito (neck). ... OT Jonathan Martin was not with the team due to an unspecified illness. Multiple media outlets reported that Martin was distraught after teasing and bulling from teammates, but he posted on his Facebook page saying "Don't believe everything you read."
