Cowboys 23, Browns 20 (OT): Dan Bailey's third field goal, a 38-yarder with 6:07 left in overtime, allowed Dallas to survive an upset bid and send Cleveland to a franchise-record 12th consecutive road loss.

Bailey also converted a 32-yard kick with two seconds left in regulation after Tony Romo drove the Cowboys 66 yards in eight plays to give the Cowboys (5-5) back-to-back wins for the first time since November 2011.

Romo threw for 313 yards on 35-of-50 passing to improve to 21-3 in November, and connected with Dez Bryant on a 28-yard scoring pass to put Dallas ahead 17-13 with 6:46 to play. Bryant had 12 catches for 145 yards to help the Cowboys pull within a game of the idle New York Giants for the NFC East lead.

Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden finished 20-of-35 for 210 yards and two touchdowns to tight end Benjamin Watson - the second giving Cleveland (2-8) a 20-17 lead with 1:07 to play.

The Browns, who have not won away from home since Week 2 of last season, dominated the first half by limiting the Cowboys to 68 total yards and taking a 13-0 halftime lead on Weeden's first scoring pass to Watson and two field goals by Phil Dawson.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dallas trailed 13-3 after three quarters but got a 2-yard TD run by Felix Jones and the scoring pass to Bryant to take its first lead. ... Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray (foot) and Browns CB Joe Haden (oblique) were both inactive. It was the fifth straight game missed by Murray and the fifth game overall by Haden, who served a four-game suspension earlier this season. ... Dawson connected from 51 and 47 yards in the first half, extending his consecutive streak to 23 dating to last season - the longest active streak in the league.
