Recap
Dolphins 17, Bengals 13: Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas each rushed for a touchdown as visiting Miami topped Cincinnati in a defensive battle.
Ryan Tannehill completed 17 of 26 passes for 223 yards and did not turn the ball over for the Dolphins (2-3), who stayed committed to the run despite averaging only 1.9 yards on 35 attempts.
The Miami defense stepped up in the fourth quarter, stopping Andy Dalton on third down before a missed 41-yard field-goal attempt with three minutes left. It sealed the win 1:38 later, when Reshad Jones intercepted Dalton’s pass at midfield.
Cincinnati took an early lead with a pair of field goals before Thomas bulled his way in on a 1-yard run with 6:54 left in the first half. Dalton was intercepted on the opening drive of the third quarter and Bush made Cincinnati pay for the mistake, rushing in for a 13-yard score.
Dalton finished 26 of 43 for 234 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for the Bengals (3-2), who had their three-game winning streak come to an end.
