No. 7 Kansas State 42, No. 21 Texas 24:
Collin Klein passed for 184 yards and a touchdown and added 103 yards and two scores on the ground, and John Hubert rushed for three touchdowns as the host Wildcats clinched a share of the Big 12 title and the league's automatic BCS bowl berth.

Kansas State (11-1, 8-1 Big 12) scored touchdowns on its first three possessions of the second half to take control and cashed in on a muffed punt return and an interception to put it away. The Wildcats earned a share of the Big 12 crown with Oklahoma, but Kansas State holds the head-to-head tiebreaker for the league's automatic bid to the Fiesta Bowl.

The loss snapped a five-game road winning streak dating to last season for Texas (8-4, 5-4), which finished the regular season with consecutive losses. Case McCoy, who got the start after David Ash struggled last week against TCU, was 26-of-34 for 314 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Kansas State took advantage of McCoy's first interception for an early 7-0 lead, as Klein punched in a 1-yard scoring run one play after the turnover. The Wildcats managed just 115 total yards in the first half and trailed 10-7 at halftime, but they got on track in the third quarter and finished with 362.

Hubert's second touchdown of the night gave Kansas State a 21-17 lead with 47 seconds left in the third quarter, and Klein hit Tyler Lockett for a 55-yard touchdown to extend the margin early in the fourth. Hubert's third score capped a 39-yard drive after the muffed punt, and Klein capped the night with a 9-yard touchdown run following McCoy's second interception.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Klein (15 passing TDs, 22 rushing TDs) is the first player from a BCS automatic-qualifying conference with consecutive seasons of 10 or more touchdown passes and 20 or more touchdown runs. … Kansas State has won five straight meetings with Texas and not lost to the Longhorns at home since 2002. … The Wildcats won their first league title since 2003 and earned their first BCS berth since the 2004 Fiesta Bowl.
