No. 18 Boise State 45, Wyoming 14:
D.J. Harper rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns and the Broncos won their seventh straight game by routing the host Cowboys.

Shane Williams-Rhodes, Grant Hedrick and Jay Ajayi added rushing touchdowns and Corey Bell scored on a fumble return as Boise State (7-1, 4-0) remained in first place in the Mountain West Conference.

Wyoming (1-7, 0-4) lost its fourth straight game as Pete Kaligis served as interim coach with Dave Christensen serving a one-game suspension for an embarrassing profanity-laced postgame tirade against Air Force coach Troy Calhoun after a contest on Oct. 13.

Harper scored on runs of 8 and 9 yards to help Boise State to a 17-7 halftime advantage. The Broncos pulled away with three third-quarter touchdowns – a 28-yard reverse by Williams-Rhodes, a 19-yard fumble return by Bell and a 1-yard option keeper by Hedrick.

Quarterback Brett Smith scored both Wyoming touchdowns on a 4-yard run in the second quarter and a 23-yard scamper in the final quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Harper has topped 100 yards four times this season and on eight occasions in his career. … Smith passed for 216 yards and moved into ninth-place in school history with 4,178 career yards. … Boise State has won 48 consecutive October games since losing to Rice in 2001.
