No. 1 Alabama 44, Tennessee 13:
AJ McCarron threw for four touchdowns and a career-high 306 yards to power the Crimson Tide past the host Volunteers.

McCarron's four scoring passes - two in each half - tied his career high as Alabama (7-0, 4-0 SEC) beat Tennessee (3-4, 0-4) for the sixth straight time and have now scored 40-plus points in four consecutive road games for the first time in school history.

Freshman Amari Cooper hauled in seven passes for a season-high 162 yards and two touchdowns and T.J. Yeldon rushed for 129 yards and two scores as the Crimson Tide extended their winning streak to 11 games - all by at least 19 points.

Alabama's suffocating defense, which has surrendered 58 points in seven games, also did its part in helping the Tide break away from a 23-10 halftime lead. After stopping Tennessee on a fourth-and-1, McCarron drove Alabama 67 yards in six plays capped by a 42-yard strike to Cooper for a 30-10 lead with 2:56 left in the third.

Robert Lester's interception of Tyler Bray on the ensuing possession stopped a Tennessee drive and McCarron responded with a 39-yard scoring pass to Kenny Bell to make it 37-10 with 12:46 to play.
