No. 20 Texas Tech 56, No. 21 Texas Christian 53 (3OT): Seth Doege passed for 318 yards and seven touchdowns - three of them to Eric Ward - as the visiting Red Raiders won a shootout over the Horned Frogs in the in-state rivals' first meeting as conference opponents since 1995.

Kenny Williams broke a 47-yard touchdown run to give Texas Tech (6-1, 3-1 Big 12) a 36-26 lead with 4:06 left in the fourth quarter, but TCU rallied to tied it on Trevone Boykin's 60-yard touchdown pass to LaDarius Brown with 2:25 to go and Jaden Oberkrom's 42-yard field goal with 18 seconds left.

Doege and Boykin each threw touchdown passes in the first two overtimes, but TCU (5-2, 2-2 Big 12) had to settle for Oberkrom's sixth field goal of the day in the third extra period. Doege ended it with an 8-yard touchdown pass to Alex Torres.

Ward had six catches for 61 yards, including a pair of first-half touchdowns and a 6-yard scoring catch in the first overtime.

Boykin, making his third start for TCU since Casey Pachall withdrew from school following his arrest for drunken driving, was 26-of-44 for 332 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions. Skye Dawson caught 10 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown for the Horned Frogs.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The teams were members of the Southwest Conference before it disbanded in 1996. ... The Red Raiders have scored in a school-record 188 consecutive games dating to Oct. 25, 1997. … The Horned Frogs lost for only the third time in 31 home games and dropped to 58-9 at home under coach Gary Patterson.
