Clemson 26, Auburn 19:
Andre Ellington racked up a career-high 231 rushing yards and DeAndre Hopkins had a school-record 13 receptions for 119 yards and a score as No. 14 Clemson beat No. 25 Auburn at the Georgia Dome.
Clemson's Chandler Catanzaro made four field goals, including an 18-yarder with 1:24 left to give the Tigers the final margin. Auburn's final drive stalled when Vic Beasley sacked Kiehl Frazier on third down and Frazier's desperate heave on fourth down landed incomplete.
Auburn took a 19-16 lead on Cody Parkey's fourth field goal of the game with 12:50 left, but Clemson dominated the final period. Tajh Boyd hit Hopkins for a 4-yard touchdown pass on which the wideout make a remarkable catch despite a pass interference penalty, and the Tigers salted it away with one last drive.
Clemson has won two of the past three meetings in the budding rivalry after losing 14 straight against the Tigers.
Hopkins was thrust into a larger role with the absence of star receiver Sammy Watkins, who is suspended for the first two games of the season because of an arrest during the off-season.
Boyd finished with 208 yards on 24-of-34 passing with a touchdown and an interception and added 58 yards on 19 carries.
