Brandon Weeden and Joseph Randle each had three first-half touchdowns as No. 3 Oklahoma State remained unbeaten with a 66-6 rout over Texas Tech Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas.

Oklahoma State (10-0, 7-0 Big 12) is ranked No. 2 in the latest BCS standings behind LSU, and could be just two wins away from a spot in the school’s first national championship game. The Cowboys will play at Iowa State next week before their home finale against seventh-ranked Oklahoma on Dec. 3.

The Cowboys, who narrowly escaped Kansas State in a 52-45 win last week, turned this one into a laugher early. They scored touchdowns on six of their first seven possessions, returned a fumble for a score and led 49-0 at the half.

Texas Tech (5-5, 2-5 Big 12) had three first-half turnovers — two fumbles and an interception. Weeden left the game with 1:22 left in the third quarter with the Cowboys ahead 63-6. He finished 31-of-37 for 423 yards and five touchdowns.

The Red Raiders, who shocked the nation with their 41-38 win over then-unbeaten Oklahoma on Oct. 22, have since lost three straight games by a combined 159-33 margin. Seth Doege continued his recent struggles, completing 25-of-43 passes for 169 yards.

Justin Blackmon had six catches for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Josh Cooper added 106 receiving yards for the Cowboys, who defeated Texas Tech for the fourth time in the last five meetings. They also scored 50 points or more for the sixth time this season.
