Dion Lewis ran for 261 yards and four touchdowns on 42 carries, leading Pittsburgh to a 28-10 win over Cincinnati in the Big East finale for both teams Saturday.

Pittsburgh clinched a share of the conference title, but will not win the tiebreaker.

The Panthers (7-5, 5-2) never trailed. The Bearcats (4-8, 2-5), who won the conference the last two seasons, will not go to a bowl game under first-year coach Butch Jones.

Cincinnati quarterback Zach Collaros completed 11 of 21 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown. He threw two interceptions and gained 47 yards rushing on 14 carries.

Tino Sunseri completed 14 of 23 passes for 158 yards and one interception for Pittsburgh.

The game was played in a steady snowfall.

Lewis gave Pittsburgh the lead with a 2-yard run late in the first quarter. His 76-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second quarter made it 14-0.

Cincinnati answered on its next drive when Collaros hit Anthony McClung with a 3-yard touchdown pass, but Lewis struck again for a 7-yard scoring run, making it a 14-point lead again.

Jake Rogers kicked a 32-yard field goal with 33 seconds left in the half, cutting the lead to 21-10.

But Lewis was unstoppable, and the Panthers were never seriously threatened after halftime.
