Brandon Weeden threw five touchdown passes and No. 21 Oklahoma State overcame a deficit at the half to post a 54-28 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Friday night.

Hitting the road for the first time this season, the Cowboys (5-0) used a big second half to remain unbeaten heading into Big 12 Conference play.

Oklahoma State came into the game with the nation’s No. 2 scoring offense (52.25 points per game) and was facing a defense that was allowing allowing 35 points and more than 400 yards per game. Weeden and company took advantage of that matchup, especially in the second half when the Cowboys outscored the Ragin’ Cajuns 37-7.
