Colorado State 73, Washington 55: Colton Iverson had 13 points and 12 rebounds and the visiting Rams took control with a pair of big runs in the second half.
Greg Smith scored 15 points, Dorian Green had 14 and Pierce Hornung added 12 rebounds as the Rams are 4-0 for the first time since starting 6-0 in 2005. Colorado State, which outrebounded the Huskies 19-4 in the second half and 40-19 for the game, was 6-for-10 from 3-point range after intermission.
C.J. Wilcox scored a career-high 28 points for Washington (2-3), which had won 77 of its previous 82 non-conference games before dropping its last two. Aziz N'Diaye, who entered the game as the leading rebounder in the Pac-12 at 11.8 per game, had eight boards and eight points.
Wilcox scored 13 points on 6-of-13 shooting in the first half as Washington took a 30-28 lead at intermission. Iverson had seven points and eight rebounds for the Rams, who stayed in the game despite shooting 33.3 percent from the field, and like the Huskies, were 2-of-8 from 3-point range.
Washington led 38-34 before a 13-0 Colorado State run, highlighted by a pair of Green 3-pointers, gave the Rams a 47-38 lead. After the Huskies got to within five, the Rams ripped off a 22-7 spurt - with Daniel Bejarano scoring eight of his 13 points - to take a 69-49 lead with 2:34 remaining.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington senior G Scott Suggs, who is averaging 10.3 points and is 8-for-14 from 3-point range, missed the game with plantar fasciitis. ...
