Oregon State 83, Colorado 69: Ahmad Starks scored all 18 of his points in the second half as the Beavers pulled away from the visiting Buffaloes.
Roberto Nelson scored 16 points and Jared Cunningham added 15 points as Oregon State (17-13, 7-11 Pac-12) won its second straight game.
Askia Booker scored 15 points and Andre Roberson and Carlon Brown scored 14 points apiece for Colorado (19-11, 11-7), which has lost two straight.
The Buffaloes were eliminated from obtaining a top-four seed and a first-round bye for the Pac-12 tournament in Los Angeles. Colorado will be the sixth-seed and will meet Utah on Wednesday.
Colorado scored the first five points of the second half to take a 32-30 lead before Oregon State dominated the next 10 minutes. Starks hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give the Beavers a 19-point lead, and Eric Moreland capped the 38-12 surge with a basket to make it 68-44 with 8:22 to play.
Starks hit three of Oregon State’s seven second-half 3-point baskets. The Beavers didn’t make a single 3 in the first half.
Devon Collier added 11 points and Joe Burton scored 10 points for Oregon State.
