Spurs 108, Suns 99: Tony Parker scored 31 points on 13-of-17 shooting and Manu Ginobili added 20 points as San Antonio notched a season-high eighth straight victory.
Tiago Splitter added 13 points and eight rebounds, Boris Diaw scored 11 points and Stephen Jackson added 10 as the Spurs played without injured Tim Duncan (knee) and coach Gregg Popovich (illness) for the third consecutive contest.
Michael Beasley scored a season-high 25 points and Jared Dudley added 23 points for Phoenix, which lost for the first time in three games under interim coach Lindsey Hunter.
The Suns kept it close and had an 88-86 lead after Dudley’s basket with 9:27 remaining. Parker then scored seven consecutive points and Kawhi Leonard drained a 3-pointer to give San Antonio an eight-point edge with 5:41 left.
Phoenix moved within 104-97 on a 3-pointer by Beasley with 1:54 left but Diaw and Ginobili responded with baskets as the Spurs held on.
